Duplicate Trope: Hold Me

Hold Me is a Stock Phrase with description "Security Cling + the words "hold me"". I think it's fairly obvious that it's a duplicate to Security Cling, since there is little to no distinct meaning between them (the couple traits of the scenario mentioned in the description apply to any Security Cling), so I propose that it be merged into that trope. Aye/nay/other thoughts?

Aye. Duplicate. Merge, redirect, wipe hands on pants.

Obvious duplicate is obvious. Merge and redirect this blasted Stock Phrase.

Tru dat. It makes sense to merge it with Security Cling rather than keep it as a separate page.

We really don't need "tropes" that are (trope + stockphrase) trying to slip around the "Stock phrases are not tropes" restriction.

@6: I take issue at the accusation that this is an attempt at circumventing policy, since the oldest entry in the page history goes back to 2010 and the stock phrase policy is more recent than that.

Otherwise, does anyone have objections against the proposed course of action?

Hold Me even says it's just Security Cling + Stock Phrase, and there's nothing else to it. Merge.

I do like the image on Hold Me better, though. There's more emotion to it, and less posing.

Yay, doesn't look like we'll even need a crowner. I'll have the time to merge this later in the week if someone doesn't beat me to it.

Image-wise, I suggest opening an IP topic; I find the current on Security Cling to be better because it shows the emotions in their faces, though both images are good, so it probably merits further discussion.

Working on the merge. I've already replaced Hold Me with a redirect and saved the list at Sandbox.Security Cling. Help if you can; I've got Spanish homework.

I will help up as soon as I am done watching Criminal Minds.

Did the merge. I didn't find much potholing, but a lot of misuse for simply holding people in their arms.

Image-wise, I somewhat prefer Security Cling's image to the one on Hold Me (now Sandbox.Security Cling), since the eye direction says that they are looking at something dangerous. Hold Me looks like a generic cling.

Agreed; I'd forgotten about that pic already being on that page. That said, the pic on Security Cling is over 500 px wide and needs to be resized...it could come down to 300 or 275 px and not hurt anything.
