That suggestion would be Just A Semi-Nude Lady And A Caption.

"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI'm not sure if it works to have a picture for this one. Would Jessica Rabbit◊ be better?
This, I think, would take a multi-panel pic showing a character in various shows/games/comics/whatever and a caption noting how her serviceness is the constant.
Better yet, can we use gif files instead of images? Because I think this one just might be perfect◊.

Nope, you can't.
Moon◊Against image policy.
Next.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Jessica Rabbit is not good. Who Framed Roger Rabbit may be known for fanservice, but that is among many other things. Best Known for the Fanservice means that's the only thing the work is known for, a lot like It Was His Sled. For example, the only scene a lot of people know about from Basic Instinct is the interrogation.

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan. The only example I can think of is the infamous Sharon Stone moment from Basic Instinct, and I'm pretty sure we can't use that. Not to mention it wouldn't be a good illustration anyway.
Reaction Image RepositoryThe only image I could imagine here would be a double-paneler, with the first showing the work's cast and the second showing fans fawning over a background character.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI'm pretty sure Tenga Toppa Gurren Lagann would define this.
Maybe something like this; https://www.cute-factor.com/members/java-albums-tengen-toppa-gurren-lagann-picture24000-gurren-lagann01.html "It's actually about robots."

That would be Just A Face And A Caption.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanHow about an image of Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake with a caption regarding the Super Bowl Game like: "Remember when the Patriots won the Super Bowl in 2004?"
Makes no sense to people not American.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanDoesn't make sense to me either, and I'm American.
I must be cruel, but to be kind That bad may begin, and worse be left behindIt's referring to Janet Jackson's "wardrobe malfunction", IIRC.
Moon◊I know that. It's JAFAAC though.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanYou weren't the only one who said they didn't get it.
Moon◊New idea: How about the movie poster from "Porky's" http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0084522/ with a caption like "All you take from that movie"?

404.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanRemove the ) in the end.
I do not feel that illustrates the trope.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI don't get it.
Check out my fanfiction!Neither do I.
"Polite life will fill you full of cancer." - Iggy Pop "I've seen the future, brother, it is murder." -Leonard CohenI like it.
I think I know the ideal pic for Best Known for the Fanservice. One of Mai Shiranui with the caption: "Three guesses why Fatal Fury 2 sold better than its predicessor, and the first two don't count."
Thoughts?
