Just out of curiosity, what is the prize of the tournament in universe?

Mr king is offering a large cash prize (ye its kinda a cop out, but the tournament isn't truly integral to the plot, just a believable setting to gather high class duellists.)

A VERY large cash prize.

It's a pretty cool amount.

For argument sake we'll say its $50,000

Remember we are talking about a VERY wealthy businessman and he's supposed to have attracted some of the best duelists from around the world. I'd say $500,000 to $1,000,000.

I was gonna play a guy with Malefics, but Malefics were on the "do not use" list, so I rehashed my character from the Duel Academy RP.

Starting to regret not just reusing Sean to make this a proper reunion...

If you really want to, you can change it; Just wait till Deg next posts so he can give you the go ahead and then we can look at this character sheet.

Nah, I'm fine. I mean, I'd probably just want to bust out Post-Second Year!Sean, who is in a complicated relationship with Harmon, Lord of Striking Thunder. Likely wouldn't make sense story-wise to have a character who has done most of their character development off-screen now would it?

This is an AU Angie anyhow. She's younger and has different drama.

We have decided to start up the RP when I get home from college tonight (duels starting next week)

Is it just me, or is it an odd coincidence that we have three Duel Spirits involved in this RP, and all three are big angel guys?

I would like to pretend that was me through subtle hypnotising and brainwashing, however I hadn't noticed......... Cool

and now comrades of unknown gender, we have a RP So to continue my trend of movie quotes, fly my pretties, fly!

If we wanted to parade around false symbolism, we could say that Hyperion, Shinato, and Kristya repesent something like past, present, and future, or frankincense, gold, and myrrh.

I like that second one. Kristya's graveyard-specific conditions for special summon and his ability to bring things to a standstill by stopping special summons makes him a good match for the funerary myrrh.

I quite like that. It does represent the three well. Now to see how they are characterised with Kristya.

Not sure which other pairs match up best, I think Shinato would be gold, but I'm not sure.
