I noticed lack of one general thread regarding Warhammer Fantasy, so I decided to create a one. :)
Not only Warhammer Fantasy Battle discussions welcomed, but also all things related to Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay (regardless of edition).
If anyone has questions regarding Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay's second edition, feel free to ask since I own most of its sourcebooks.

I think that mercenaries are just the people to have self-deprecating gallows humour about their band name as well.
"...in the end the Shadow was only a small and passing thing: there was light and high beauty for ever beyond its reach."A name that gets across "yeah we're totally badass but don't feel too guilty if we die on the job."
Disgusted, but not surprisedThat Darkoath Warqueen though....
Me want
Me too. I was going to have my Barbarians & Beasts Chaos army (Marauder Slaves to Darkness, Beastmen and various monsters allied together) led by the Darkoath Chief but I think I have found a new leader.

Knowledge is Power, Guard it WellMaybe another one I could use is the Reikland Free Legion
Or the Old World Legion since they have members from a lot of different Old World countries (the majority being Imperials but also a few dwarves and a good number of Bretonnians, not to mention Tileans and Estalians)
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.I mainly saw it and thought "Oh hey, another model for my Khornate Sisters of Battle".
Though compared to Neave and the female Sigmarine from Shadespire, she'd likely be much better as an Exalted Deathbringer in Age of Sigmar.
Combat Phase's interview with Josh Reynolds (episode 219 for the Ao S stuff) turned up a few very minor things. He wasn't able to talk about the Soul Wars novel as it ties in to 'other things', so that's a good hint that it's a Malign Portents related book and that the campaign/box/setting book/whatever is going to be at least partially about Nagash returning to war with Sigmar. Not unexpected, given what has been built towards in pretty much all the Ao S death fiction so far but it's some confirmation. He also mentioned that it's going to go badly for all concerned and not in a 'chaos gods laughing in the background' sort of way, that chaos is going to get hit hard too. You could definitely read too much into all this but it's worth a listen. H Also, he mentions an upcoming Ao S novel set between the Realmgate Wars and the 'current' time of City of Secrets/Spear of Shadows, covering the founding of a city by the forces of order.
In truth I'm a mass of hatred and caffeine masquerading as a human being.Gotrek is getting an audio-drama series set in the mortal realms.

Knowledge is Power, Guard it WellThe fact that they couldn't even be bothered to draw up some new art for the Almanac annoys me.
Those figures look nice, though.
The figures doo look sweet. I particularly like the catchers, who are a actually catching the ball.
Knowledge is Power, Guard it WellSadly the WFRP got massively delayed.
In truth I'm a mass of hatred and caffeine masquerading as a human being.Do us a favor, don't just post a gibberish link. There's been a lot of advertisement spam on the forums lately and I was seriously wondering if they were taking the effort to make user accounts that could blend in.
Totally forgot you existed, I don't participate much in this thread. But I almost reported you to the mods rather than gamble on the link.
As for the link, a new campaign or general launch for AoS? More undead and chaos coming? And I thought Achearon was the champion of chaos.
"But don't give up hope. Everyone is cured sooner or later. In the end we shall shoot you." - O'Brien, 1984In fact I believe it is technically against the forum rules to just post a link without anything else, even if it is rarely enforced.
As for the link itself, as a long-time undead player more Death is always appreciated, especially that beautiful wraith model.
Knowledge is Power, Guard it WellAaand we actually get a webpage for this up and running.
The scene sure is comfy and reassuring, specially with the tagline of: "the age of hope is dead". 20 days to go.

Do High Elves ever go abroad to become mercenaries?
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.High Elf Exiles have been known to. Asarnil the Dragonlord was a High Elf Prince who was a character for the Dogs of War mercenaries.
Knowledge is Power, Guard it WellAlright. Was just wondering, but I doubt the group I'm coming up with would attract any elves XD

A good mercenary band name should give people who hear it the impression of a Boisterous Bruiser. Come to think of it, "Boisterous Bruisers" would be a decent name for a merc band. Even better if the leader's name starts with "B". "Belegar's Boisterous Bruisers".
