So, talk about where you work or what you do for a living/part-time to gain extra money/to pay off your drug dealer.

Some of you already know that I work part-time (since I'm a sophomore in college) in the kitchen at my local Pizza Hut. It's not too bad (mostly because we get just enough business to keep me from getting bored...usually...and little enough that it's not so overwhelming...usually).

Although I did find that I was singing to myself 'Look down, look down, you'll always be a slave' a lot during the day today [lol]

Student jobseeker extrodinaire!

I'm not bad at the student part at least.

[up] That sounds awesome. How do you get into that?

Student who often finds himself doing some of the housework (laundry, dinner preparation, and making sure everyone's okay).

Trying to get a job at the moment though... there's just no way I'm going to make it through college without some form of revenue.

Desk jockey in a state-run institute. Come Monday I'll be fending off auditors from the dreaded European Commission.

I'd run off for sick leave instead if it was an option.

I work at my church nursery for 2 hours, 2 Sundays a month. I take care of kids who are too young to sit still in a church service. I swear some of these children need to stay in the church service because they must be demons. It's pretty easy, unless we get a baby or something. Usually me and the other attendant talk about The Walking Dead or video games until the service ends.

At the moment,...nothing (I'm also a college sophomore, but I don't have time to even think about it right now),except of course house upkeeping.

However,I will be applying for a job at a Gym back home, parents will send the application.

My last job was a traveling salesman for Cutco,...which was actually a very nice job, loved every bit of it. But I didn't have enough of a cliente to keep it going. Oh well at least I have some kickass kitchen knives instead of the dull stuff most people have.

I work in a grocery store called Jewel-Osco. I've been there for five years. Some days I bring the carts back in, other days I bag people's groceries. Today, as the original poster said, I definitely had the "Look Down" song in my head. ^_^;;

My last job was Administration. I don't miss it.

Well, except for the money.

Silence: buddy you have NO friggin' idea. Can your job keep you long past the supposed end of your shift and take your weekends while not paying you any more? Can you quit your job without going to jail for doing so?

Anyways, I'm in the Army sadly. It sucks. Well my unit fucking sucks. If I could go back in time I would kick my own ass for deciding to join.

Yeah, that I have to give up $100 of every month for a year for.

Honestly when I go to college I'm just gonna tell college girls I went to prison for three years. It's pretty much the same. Only in prison they let you actually eat three meals a day; Army life there has been days I don't eat until I get off work late in the evening.

This unit is fucking terrible. They had an IG investigation done on them their first year being formed.

But, of course I would be assigned to it. Life loves fucking me over at every turn. If God has a plan for me he is a fucking asshole who can eat a dick based on what I have seen thus far of it. I'm sorry it has been a rough day.

I assume that you obviously didn't know things were going to be this bad when you signed up. What made you sign up at the beginning? I'm just curious.

[up][up] Well I didn't really need convincing, but if I did I would stay well away from the army on the possibility that I would be assigned to a similar unit. So thanks for sharing - I'm sure it will help other people tossing it up as possibility.

A sense of patriotism, honor, and college money. Had I known I would grow to be this profoundly unhappy I would have gladly taken student loans and a life of debt.

[up] Yeah don't go ADA. I'm sure the rest of the Army is kick ass; ADA is miserable. By all means join but avoid the 14 series MOS's.

Three years. Not really sure if I can do it.

Honestly if I'm NOT an alcoholic by the time I get out I will be fucking surprised.
