American culture in general is far more averse to sex than violence. I find that a smidge creepy.

The pig of Hufflepuff pulsed like a large bullfrog. Dumbledore smiled at it, and placed his hand on its head: "You are Hagrid now."Didn't Wii U have Bayonetta 2 :P
Mileena MadnessNintendo published it, but Sega owns the IP. This game, meanwhile, has its IP owned by Nintendo, so NoA is all defensive of it.
I sure said that!Yeah, but Bayo has costumes of Peach, Link, Samus and Fox.
Heart of StoneDon't forget they straight up told Platinum to make the Link costume sexier.
Nintendo didn't merely publish Bayo 2. Nintendo is the reason it exists at all.
It's really creepy. I'm just glad we're finally allowed to say "fuck" exactly once in a purely non-sexual manner in a film without the rating automatically jumping to R.

PSN ID: FateSeraph Congratulations! She/TheyI very seriously doubt that what we've seen so far would even amount to an M. There's an image that's been going around showing a bunch of extremely suggestive material from various games that were all rated T. And just recently we had Persona 4 Dancing All Night, which can have explicitly underage girls dancing around in swimsuits.
And things like covering cleavage with black smoke is literally 4kids-tier. I thought we moved away from that style of localization in decade or so since the age of 4kids. I can only take comfort in the fact that this game is an assured flop.
Fight for something, even if its meaningless. The second and third seasons of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure use black smoke to cover up a guy getting decapitated, one guy getting eaten alive, and I think one instance of smoking and it's all in the original Japanese.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book! And you're bringing this up because? I'm going to take a guess and say the black smoke is only in the TV version, and the blu-rays are completely uncensored. Still censorship sure, but it feels like there's different motivations at work here.
I was pointing out that it wasn't just a localization thing. Also, I'm pretty sure that the version I was watching was the Blu-ray version.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book! Those are from Parts 2 and 1, respectively, not Part 3.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!So who is gonna download this?
I'd been planning to get a physical copy myself, but my cash is a little low, and I'm not sure if I want to spend it.
On the other hand, I have a lot of money on my Nintendo id account (almost 100 but not quite) and it occurs to me that it might be better to download it (and possibly get it a day early).
I hadn't planned on it, and even though I got enough room I think with my recent purchase of a External Hard-Drive a few months back, I still question if it's a wise idea.
I'd been planning to use the money on my Nintendo ID account for other things (some Streetpass Plaza stuff I'd been holding off on buying, all the Hyrule Warriors DLC like the legends characters for Wii U, and later the DLC for Fire Emblem Fates).
I'll probably be good, but I want to hear what you guys think. I'm also still doing Xenoblade Chronicles X, and while I expected to be done by the time this came out, I also expected to have more money to buy a physical version of this damn game.
One Strip! One Strip!I'm happy to see Tokyo Mirage Sessions getting respective reviews. Generally in the 7-8 range with the occasional 9.
Hah!
Being serious, that's good to hear.
How were it's reviews in Japan again? I know the game tanked there, but that doesn't necessarily mean it got poor reviews.
Also, since this thread is gonna be filling up again soon any thoughts on my question in the earlier post?

One Strip! One Strip!Only review I remember is Famitsu's 34/40 which translates to 8, 9, 9, and 8. I am interested in eventually downloading it off the Wii U eShop, but I haven't even finish Fire Emblem Fates yet and I want to do that first.
Still not sure if I want to give this game a try, since it seems very idol heavy and the lack of English audio. Yeah, there's subtitles but there's just the Japanese audio in battle so I feel like I wouldn't be getting everything out of it.
At the very least, if I do decide to at least try the first half hour or so, my brother has the special edition preordered so I can do that.
Hah hah.
Your preferences are not everyone else's preferences.Metacritic has it currently sitting at an 83 which is higher than Star Fox: Zero and Pokken Tournament and just under Twilight Princess HD.
Sadly, it probably will sell less than all 3 of them.
Well, it's not like we all didn't know the game plays well.
It's the content that hurt it apparently.
I'm hoping this idea doesn't die horribly, but they are just better about what the story is about.
One Strip! One Strip! It had comparable sales to Star Fox in Japan. Well, you can't expect non-Persona Atlus games to do well in the west. Reviews overall are more positive than i expected. This is Atlus's first big budget HD JRPG, so it's a good sign for Persona 5 that they can handle one.
Your preferences are not everyone else's preferences. The problem with the game was really never what it was (an above-average game with great gameplay and a so-so story) and more what it wasn't.
This song needs more love. The sad thing is that by all accounts this game seems to have very competent gameplay; its just too bad that No A felt the need to give it a 4kids-tier Macekre for whatever reason. For that reason alone I feel like this game does not deserve my money, as there are plenty of other very competent JRP Gs whose localization doesn't treat me like a child.
Fight for something, even if its meaningless.I am not sold on the reviews, I am guessing most of them are made by those who where already hyped for it and would have rated it high regardless of it's quality. Additionally I have noticed that most of them don't even seem to know what SMT even is (I would guess they only think of Persona 4) and seems to only have awareness of FE from Awakening and Fates.
To me, all of this smacks of NoA being terrified of having any M rated games in recognizable franchises of theirs. This is stupid, but the ESRB is also stupid when it comes to even the tiniest hint of sexuality, so I'm not sure what to say. Nintendo of America has made it abundantly clear that, as of now, they don't really understand how to handle RPGs, between their edit-happy localization choices and their constant hiring of outside help for games that have more than a few lines of text.
I sure said that!
