Doubt it. We're still not even sure if they actually exist yet.

It's basically confirmed they do.

There's still no official announcement, just people talking about them and speculating.

Although one of the seemingly more informed ones did say that Sony explicitly forbade any developer to give extra features or content for Neo users a while back.

No, the limit is likley based on the hardware limitations of the Xbone.

It only has 4.5gb of usable ram, since while it has 8gb, 3.5gb is used just to run its OS, how it is so innefecient is beyond me but it is....

And adding in larger mods ups the ram footprint during loading by a large amount.

Ahhh diffrent consoles? Yea those are just rumors bordering on myth especialy the 4k ps4.

A 4k graphics card runs you about 800usd, there is no way your going to stuff that into a console because no one will be able to aford it.

Supposedly it can't run games in 4K but can stream and broadcast in 4K if you've got the right super blu rays or whatever the hell they are.

I've also heard it's less making a more powerful PS 4 and more the AMD bits used to make the PS 4 are going out of production and it'll be cheaper to use different, more powerful ones in future PS4s.

Even video playback in 4k requires about 2gb of dedicated video ram.....

They said it'll have more RAM. Presumably if you're watching something in 4K you can't really be doing much else or having anything in the background.

Still though, nothing is confirmed so we'll just have to see.

Which is admitantly better then a PS 4, but its not the kind of upgrade that is worth giving your customer base the middle finger over.

Thats also lacking a disk tray which runs you another 60usd, which is going to have to come out of somewhere.

So Abernathy Farm got attacked by super mutants again. Because of course they did. Well after fixing that problem I decided to create and send them a fully decked out sentry bot as a guard dog. An hour later they were crying to me again about being threatened by feral ghouls.

Are we sure the Institute is the only place we can nuke?

Who watches the watchmen?

Abernathy Farm is one of my Vegetable Starch producers, so I make it a point to help them and all my settlements that do the same thing.

I'm a monster of a human being who uses his settlements for water farming and glue production.

Oh really when?

After you capture The Castle and getting Radio Freedom online, Abernathy will not asking help anymore, at least not from Garvey-kun. On the other hand, except you pull lots of defense on each farm, you'll often get "call for defense". I got like, 6 call from Oberland Station in a month. Then you have to deal with production bug.

Welp Hancock is bugged on me. He wasn't where I sent him, so I used the console to bring him to me. Turns out he was glitching under the ground. So he shows up to me sprawled out on the floor in nothing but his boxers. And just wouldn't get up. Whatever high he was on wasn't helping me, so like 20 minutes of console voodoo magic and I was finally able to get him clothed and walking about with me. But now he wouldn't gain approval. So I modded his approval to maximum. He still wouldn't give me his perk. So I gave it to myself.

Even if I already got his perk, is there any way to fix this mess?

So, I finished Far Harbor and I liked it but I'm disappointed there wasn't an option to act on behalf of the Minutemen. I saw options to present yourself as an agent of the Brotherhood of Steel or the Railroad. I assume there's probably something you can do with the Institute - my current file hasn't met Virgil yet, so if there is, I didn't have it - but there's nothing for Minutemen.

I didn't want much. Mainly conversation options. When people ask you why you're being so nice and helpful and working with them to build settlements, I wanted to be able to answer like, "I'm the General of the Commonwealth Minutemen. This is what we are. This is literally everything that we are. I help you and you, in turn, help the next person and we build a network of people ready to go out and defend whichever member state needs the assistance. Everyone gets help, everyone thrives." Expanding the ideals that the Minutemen represent to combat the F*ck You, Got Mine ideology of the Far Harbor denizens.

Instead, I had to settle for conversation options like, "I helped because I'm a traveling murderhobo who solves people's problems for no real benefit beyond the joys of doing good, plus some XP. Yes, I really am that shallow of a character!"

But apart from that, I really liked the story and everything about Acadia. It was nice to see the Children of Atom get some much needed fleshing out. DiMA was a fun character and I loved the subplot between him and Nick. Hacking into his memories is an amazing minigame that I would love to see more of in a future game or DLC.

I was a bit sad that there's no option to make peace between Far Harbor and the Children of Atom if you persuade DiMA to turn himself in and face justice. The High Confessor clearly and unashamedly murdered his way into his position while the belligerent gun shop guy murdering an Atom missionary is the entire rationale for their hostility.

It feels like you should be able to resolve things by discovering the secret truth behind the original High Confessor's death and by having the gun shop guy brought to justice for his unprovoked murder of the missionary. But instead, the only avenue to peace is that one where you not only forgive DiMA for murdering Captain Avery but conspire with him to do it again.

So, all considered, Far Harbor has its ups and its downs. Once again, Bethesda does an amazing job of seeding their world with intriguing plot hooks, then turns around and goes, "What? No, that's not foreshadowing or setting up a plotline. That's just worldbuilding. Nothing's ever going to come of it."

@Why_Cant_You_Be_Minutemen: Because, as far as Far Harbor and Acadian denizens (and Nucleus atomites, I guess) knows, being Minutemen Boss means practically nothing on them. You can be Brotherhood's Head Elder and it won't change a thing or makes them respect you (well, DiMa does, but that's because he got the reference). All they care is what your action is, and if they can trust you with their back, and maybe, can they got your stuff if you die ("Hey, I call dibs on that Vim! walking billboard!"). And you got your first settlement as a prize from doing some old families dirty job. Sure, it's a noble dirty job, but a dirty job nonetheless. Actually, setting up shop by doing your regular thing and building trust and rapport the slow way is the surest thing you got their cooperation.

Also, Mr. Survivor got there because he's helping Nick. If anything else, that means Nick, legally speaking, got more mojo than you.

I got Longfellow's cabin as a settlement long before I got the farm...

It's not about having mojo, it's about expansion. That's basically all the Minutemen plot is: expanding the organization. Where the Brotherhood, Railroad, and Institute plots are all about joining these powerful existing groups and using their resources to advance your agenda, the Minutemen starts you out with a basic philosophy and an overeager sidekick and tells you to grow.

That's what I want to do in Far Harbor: grow the Minutemen. Philosophically overcome the F*ck You Got Mine attitude of the residents and recruit them into the Minutemen's way of doing things by proving how effective it is. Same thing I've done at every settlement that's ever asked for help.

Which is basically exactly what you do in Far Harbor, but there should be an option to say, "I'm doing this because I'm a Minuteman and this is how we operate," rather than, "I'm doing this because I'm a wonderful murderhobo who travels the world solving problems, and totally not on behalf of any organization or philosophy who you should maybe think about joining."
