Pokemon X and Y - Gen VI for the 3DS (SPOILER WARNING)

To be fair, a 2000 dollar penalty per cartridge pretty much says Nintendo planned to drive them out of business.

I wasn't implying that they didn't know it was popular^note They would have had to have known this, otherwise I have no idea why else they'd sell the games early if they weren't expecting to make a profit on the franchise's popularity., I was saying they probably didn't know it was so popular that people were going to leak the game online and possibly expose the store owners who sold it to them.

Of course, maybe they were aware and simply thought nothing would happen or that the punishment wouldn't be severe.

If they had only sold a couple copies they would probably have been okay. But they sold 43. That's a pretty big number for a game that isn't due out for a week and a half, especially for a small store.

There's no way they didn't know something like this would happen. A penalty of some sort, if not this exact fine, is probably outlined in the license to sell the game.

It's only level 21 and I'm sure that person had just evolved it and took the screenshot (considering it's holding a Lucky Egg). I don't think the stats re-adjust that much upon evolution for Eevee, but I could be wrong.

Also, unless Eevee's gender-ratio has changed, I expect a lot of male Sylveon to be present.

even so, it looks like its only good stat overall is special attack.

and with a new attack named Baby-Doll eyes, I'm going to guess its going to be cute, cuddly, and Mostly built for support roles.

Wow those are some bad stats. I'm curious to see what they are once you've trained it a bit though. Apparently a Sylveon was able to tank a Mega Blastoise and kill it so they must improve over time.

I'm going with it being a combination of it having just evolved and the Eevee it evolved from having rather poor I Vs.

I was thinking you'd have to give your Eevee a Ribbon to hold, and then level it up past a certain level. (Maybe somewhere in the 30's?)

So the "only good stat" is special attack, but special defense is higher. Okay.

And given that all Eeveelutions have the same BST, I doubt Sylveon will be particularly worse than, say, Vaporeon or Espeon.

I'd also point out that that Sylveon appears to have a Calm nature.

Eating a Vanilluxe will give you frostbite.

Sylveon has the feat of beating a Mega Blastoise of a higher level though.sounds pretty hax.
