Pathological MonsterCurrent image is pretty bad. I suggest this, from Manly Guys Doing Manly Things:
No, the other one.I don't think it's an improvement.
Pathological MonsterHow does this:
No, the other one.The last one is the most humanoid.
Pathological MonsterThey're all humanoid, while still being weird and freakish. It's pretty unclear.
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel.
Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.
No, the other one.The first one doesn't have a mouth, the second one looks like the Creature from the Black Lagoon, and the last looks mostly humanoid with a sort of crown.

Anime-tedIt's a clear transition from a completely alien-looking creature to something that is at least reasonably human-like, at least in the face. With that, I'm voting Keep Until Better Image Suggested...the suggestion is good but not necessarily a staggering improvement.
Tali'Shepard Vas Normandy-RannochNew picture is greatly superior, though the size is an issue.
Per-fec-tion: -n- an exemplification of supreme excellence; an unsurpassable degree of accuracy or excellence (see also: King Zeal)
I think the new picture is greatly inferior. It doesn't suggest a transition from multiple stages, the last one being the most human. It suggests some sort of weird mutation thing to some sort of angel thing. The Cell one has a clear transition to more and more humanoid, which makes it obvious what we're supposed to be looking at. In fact, looking at the new picture and the title did not help me to guess what trope this was—once I saw the Cell picture I knew what it meant. This one just confused me.

Sharknado WarningI like Cell, though Arrows could make it clearer Yes. By strength, from weaker (Less humanoid) on top, to strongest (Most humanoid) at the bottom

Anime-tedArrows might help, but I don't think they're necessary.
No, the other one.Especially as the caption does the pointing.
