I think that the text is really hard to read because of the size. Maybe the same comic with the panels rearranged vertically would be better.

Or at 350px instead of 300.

Comic. (Trivia.xkcd is a useful page!)

The current image is at 300; 50px wider still isn't very clear, possibly because that resizer made the lines very thin. A vertical arrangement at 150 could work well; gimme a minute.

Edit: Here is that, and here's a two-panel one.

That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.

Maybe it's me, but that doesn't feel like it quite fits the trope.

It's one of those I wouldn't accept a new image of, but if it's already there, no need to pull it. Three panels is too much, though.

Eh, I dunno, it kinda fits.

Up Goer Five fits better, but is far too large to make for a decent image in any sense.

If there is a better candidate, that would be good too, but the current one is OK I think except for the quality, which definitely needs to be upgraded. Anyway, I support the 2 panel version.

@3: I dunno, I resized it in Photoshop (after removing the white space between panels, just for some added room to maneuver) and it comes out legible to me:

It's definitely better, but I'd still prefer a two-panel version.

I'd rather just use the full thing. If xkcd wasn't one of those comics that'd given us free reign in the past, I might be more hesitant, but since it is, and since it's perfectly legible with all three, I see no reason to deliberately cut out context.

Well, I swapped it on the page. Same image, better quality. While I prefer two panels, I'm not going to argue if people think it's good as it is now.

I like it, though that strip is kinda overused here I think.
