Gwen Stefani and... I forget the name, the guy from No Doubt she dated. They managed to put aside whatever shit they went thruogh upon breaking up and kept the band together, and I always felt her song "Cool" was sort of a "peaceful" sequel to the depressing "Don't Speak"

Aerosmith: Joe Perry and Brad Whitford left the band around 1980 due to internal tensions and problems caused by drug abuse, but they both rejoined a few years later, the band sobered up, and then made a huge comeback. They've been together ever since. They're one of the few 70s bands to still have their original lineup intact.

So for a while I was into NWA. I'm not a big fan of rap but I have my moods. More regularly, I'm a Beatles fan. You might not usually connect these two groups but I was reading about John and Paul and it inspired this topic.
Former friends and bandmates turned to enemies and then back again to friends before a tragic death. You had Eazy-E and Dre and then John and Paul. Death is never easy but I think it's beautiful that things didn't come to an end on bad terms. I know I'd feel awful for eternity if someone close to me died and we hadn't patched things up.
So, the thread's purpose. The examples do not have to be so dramatic but do you have any cheery examples of reunions and buddies coming back together?
