Yeah. Such a large portion of even my childhood was watching Gerry Anderson's stuff. Just about all of it was brilliant or approaching that level.

A man who entertained generations of children. His biography was the first I ever read. RIP.

I adored Captain Scarlet as a child. It's a real shame to see him go.

I am devastated. The first big Christmas present I can remember getting was a model of Tracy Island. :(
Thunderbirds was always my favourite of his shows, and this is my favourite bit from perhaps my favourite episode.
