Ava's Demon is a Thursday updating comic about a girl haunted by a poltergeist that constantly conspires to ruin her life and/or kill her. It's pretty good, and operates in a "one panel at a time" format.

Currently: Ava ain't taking this lying down.

Got to the end of Chapter Three, I think.

Oh my god the art here is beautiful. o-o

EDIT: Okay caught up. Hells yeah Ava, you tell her.

Hmm... It does look pretty good as far as I've gone thus far, and I'm somewhat intrigued, but getting only a single panel at a time is starting to grate a little - it makes the reading of the comic feel somewhat slow, I'm finding. :/

Doesn't she have like 5 Panels every Thursday?

Do you mean that she posts five single-panel pages every Thursday, or that she posts a five-panel page every Thursday? If the latter, then that might help somewhat, although I don't seem to have encountered any such. If the former, then it doesn't help: the problem, for me, is not the frequency of posting but rather the feeling of reading the pages one panel per click. I think that I'd likely be much happier reading them several panels at a time.

Wow. That got weird fast. Very pretty though. Might as well follow it and see if I like where it's going.

Interesting; the art is pretty, but I'm not sure how well the aliens, space travel, robots, etc. fit in. Since it's there from the very start, it's not as odd as Doing In the Wizard, but it still doesn't quite mesh for me.

There's definitely some setup for future comics with those warrior ghosts.

I like how at the end of every chapter, there is a little flash animation movie, a little 2 minute cartoon of some major moment. Based on the single-frame format, I do wonder if the entire thing is meant to be eventually animated; it certainly feels more like looking at 'cels' of animation than at a webcomic.

The artwork improves quickly. I could not quite figure out what was going on in the school during the robot attack, but the chapters with the crashlanding and the flashback to the 'cursed wines' were both very well written and drawn.

I'm new here.

Well, this demon sure is a whole of a lot nicer than Ava.

It looks like a good comic, but I can't stand the whole "one panel per page" deal. It reminds me of a manga I used to follow, where the scanlators started separating the pages into individual panels, so that a chapter that would normally be about 20 pages would be split into about 120. They asked in an end note if readers thought it was worth the effort they were putting in to upload the comic that way, and I wanted to shout at them "No! No it's not!". I stopped following the series because I couldn't put up with it anymore.

...eventually, we will reach a maximum entropy state where nobody has their own socks or underwear, or knows who to ask to get them back.

Can't say it bothers me, but then I read Homestuck which has a similar presentation.

This comic is pretty amazing. I could just stare at the art all day.

The lack of exposition (other than the bit about Wrathia's backstory) makes it a huge mystery, but I love those sort of stories so it's all good.

Personally I love the combination of sci-fi and fantasy elements.

I guess making a pact with the demon queen comes with some unforeseen side-effects.

Okay, I do want to know why she's suddenly vomiting lava, but my biggest question has to be why is Gil's bathroom in the kitchen?!

Wouldn't it be more accurate to say the bathroom is the kitchen?

Unless it is literally a small room completely enclosed by a larger one, in which case I want to know what the architect was smoking.

I myself have a bathroom located from the kitchen.
