I thought DECODE wasn't all that popular anyway. Like, it has a fanbase, but it's been in the SAVE line for years. I like it, I have the DVD set, but it's not like it's hard to get. The issue is that Aniplex doesn't really release anything that isn't a guaranteed seller. I don't think they would have bothered with WORKING! or Servant X Service if it wasn't for the NISA release proving that people actually were buying the series.
Yeah, it's annoying, but the stuff left that's at risk from Aniplex is either in the SAVE line or they seem to be okay with someone else having it. Black Butler's in that boat, but it might well be that someone else on the production committee likes Funimation.
Not Three Laws compliant.I've seen it. Not the worst show in the world, but there's been better love interest plotlines than what it has in season 1. The main villain's name is always going to be hugely Hilarious in Hindsight though.
So, anyone think Funimation is the one killing Discotek Media employees?
...what? Is that a thing from that anime news parody site thing?
Not Three Laws compliant.EDIT: Fell for a prank. I've been dupped.

Okay, quick primer. Anime Maru is trying to do the Onion thing. The issue is that there's like two large scale legitimate news sources for Anime in English. If ANN doesn't report it, it probably isn't a thing, because they can be hilariously exhaustive at times.
Not Three Laws compliant. There needs to be a list of gag news sites everyone must read as mandatory internet orientation.
Funimation and Crunchyroll got together and had a big ol business-collaboration-baby to give us more great stuff!
Yep, and quite a few dubs confirmed along with that. Funi's also lowered the price of their premium subscription (back to one option again), which I gladly took.
Lowered to what?

This season's Simuldubs:
- Drifters
- Keijo!!!!!!!!
- Izetta: The Last Witch
- Yuri!!! on Ice
- All Out!!
- Touken Ranbu: Hanamaru
- Kiss Him, Not Me
- Trickster
- Nanbaka
- Show By Rock!!#
Thanks to the deal with Crunchyroll, these shows are getting dubs:
- 91 Days
- Mob Psycho 100
- Orange
- Re LIFE
- Joker Game
- Alderamin on the Sky
I know it will never happen, but i kinda want Funimation to use THIS as the intro of Mob Psycho 100!
Nathan's had a few small roles with Funi lately, so I wouldn't have been shocked had they not pretty much abandoned the practice of dubbing the openings and endings.
..... ... I suggest something related to Nate and Funimation and oh my god what a surprise it turns out the two are already related. -_-
Broadcast dub casts are rolling out. I saw the first eps of 91 Days and Yuri!!! on Ice (finally!)...so good, you guys.
The first two DVD eps of Show by Rock!! season 1 were also uploaded yesterday, and as promised we have dubbed songs. Even the opening and ending, which I don't think anyone expected!

Holy crap, that's great news. Speaking of Nathan and dubbed songs, Skip Beat's dub is getting a few songs and he's in one of them.
Also I checked out the broadcast dub of Izetta. Based on the first episode, it's looking good! I like that two lesser known actresses are getting the leads.
"No will to break."If it is Nichijou, and they dub it, that would be awesome. Especially since it ended up in that limbo where Bandai licensed it and promptly went out of business.
Not Three Laws compliant.Funi did indeed announce the rescue of Nichijou at Youmacon today (sub-only DVD/BR release February 7th), as well as rescuing Scrapped Princess (release February 28th) and the license of Ura Boku/The Betrayal Knows My Name (sub-only release February 28th).

I have a friend who's been telling me for years that I would love Scrapped Princess. I guess I'll be able to find out!
Not Three Laws compliant. So with Super Announced, I'm guess this means the Buu Kai dub will premier on Toonami first?
They haven't announced that officially yet, and the Cell arc's quickly coming to a close. I'm thinking it's gonna skip to Super once it ends.
DECODE rights will go to Aniplex in October.
DAMMIT.
