...unless Net Flix makes some sort of contract with Disney, probably not.
BUY A CAR FROM ME!I would think that rights issues would hold that up. I don't know how exactly Disney dealt with these shows, but I can imagine that they don't own the properties 100%.

Insert witty and clever quip here. My page, as the database hates my handle. The Disney Afternoon was Darkwing Duck, Rescue Rangers, Duck Tales and the like, right? Why wouldn't Disney own full rights to those? The only one I can see being held back by rights is Tale Spin because of that stupid dispute over King Louie, but all others should be fair game.
The problem is Disney seems intended on keeping the Disney Afternoon properties dead and buried for whatever reason they don't want to share. Even the short BOOM! Comics revival got the shaft, despite being successful, when the license shifted to Marvel only for them to do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING AT ALL with Disney.
Maybe they think they're on par with those abhorred video sequels they used to make.
I'm guessing it has to do something with petty grudges of Today's Executives vs. Then's Executives.
Oddly enough I think it's reminiscent of Walt Disney's quote "keep moving forward"(was watching some "Meet the Robinsons reviews). Unless it has everpresent nostalgic value like their timeless films, they probably think there's no point to revisiting or continuing their old properties.
Not that I agree with that...There's the Gargoyles comic first of all, as well as all those scrapped pilots(Disney villains crossover, Greg Weisman's varoius mythology shows).
I treat all living things equally. That is to say, I eat all living thingsPocahontas 2 was one of the first Disney movies streamed on Netflix as part of their deal, so it can't be that.

Well they made a ton of those sequels, so they must've been at least somewhat profitable. Plus they have have at the bare minimum the name recognition of being "sequels" to some of the most classic films.
I treat all living things equally. That is to say, I eat all living thingsHow'd they pull that off, Odd? Someone sacrifice a puppy or something?
BUY A CAR FROM ME!I think they need to sacrifice one child every year in order to keep this deal in place.

My page, as the database hates my handle. As far as Disney media goes, if you aren't in the Vault Club that forms the basis of their Platinum/Diamond releases, you might as well be second class citizens. The only thing lower on the totem pole then TV shows at Disney is comic books.
Not Netflix, but I feel it's relevant. The Weekenders now has a full DVD release via the Disney Movie Club

Scuse me a minute...
Anyone know if the Amazon store has them for the Kindle?
“Imagination is more important than knowledge." -Albert EinsteinI hope so I wanta watch Gravity Falls.
Amazon's got Phineas and Ferb, Gravity Falls, and Ducktales The Movie Treasure of the Lost Lamp available on the Kindle Fire video store. Only Phineas and Ferb are available for Prime Instant Streaming. The only other animated shows from Disney I saw were stuff from the little kids' block.

BUMP
The only way Disney will put the Disney Afternoon series on Netflix is if we pressure them to do so, by way of letters and e-mails reminding them of these shows and why they should be put on there, and it has to be done en-masse.

"You can run, but you can't hide from the Buzzinator!"Nah, even then, they'll just ignore them.
I suppose Rescue Rangers has a shot if the rumored movie ever gets made.
How do you know that they might ignore them? Do you underestimate the power of the consumer? If Kim Possible can get a fourth season due to enormous demand, so can these shows going to Netflix. If people all over the world demand Disney to the point that Disney feels very pressured and may have no other choice but to listen to their customers, Disney will do this.

"You can run, but you can't hide from the Buzzinator!"I wonder why Disney never gives any of it's shows a full-DVD release. "Full" as-in, the complete series.
I never really watched that much of Toon Disney either (I was born in the late 90s) except Buzz Lightyear.
You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life!
I'm just wondering if anyone knows any reasons why the deal *wouldn't* include these potentially hundreds of episodes. I guess I'm also counting the runs some of them had on network Saturday Mornings.
