Okay. This is what you need to do. Delete the entire D20 1.6.4 directory. Start the launcher. Delete your profile and remake it. From the drop down list saying modpack version, select 1.0.0 instead of recommended. Download and install Tropecraft.

Aaand Tropecraft v3.2 is now available! Get it here. Installation is slightly trickier this time due to launcher bugs. If you have downloaded the 1.0.2 Direwolf20 pack version, delete its entire folder, delete your profile, and then remake your profile. Select the Direwolf20 pack and select 1.0.0 in the version dropdown menu. Launch and download, delete the config and mod folders, and replace them with the ones in the zip.

Changelog:

• Updated Thaumic Tinkerer to fix helmet in ore dictionary as stick issue
• Updated Tinker's Construct
• Removed Herobrine, who had clearly been causing lots of random bugs to screw with us

Yay, everything is working now.

Now I just have to figure out how to avoid being massacred by the mobs populating spawn.

There's a village to the northeast of spawn that you can hide out in.

I'd say you're welcome to visit me in the southern islands, but it's crazy dangerous at night in a magical forest, not sure why.

Isn't OPIS supposed to be used to track down causes of lag?

Hey swamp? If you could tune the monster spawns down from "Every fucking zombie ever to exist" that would be great.

It's supposed to but it seems to conflict with certain other mods so it's out for now at least. It also comes packaged with a minimap, which is what most players would use it for.

Sadly there's no config for that. The server's on easy though.

The Thaumic lab is steadily chugging along. I'm low on a few resources, so I might have to make a nip out to the nether soon to finish my initial scans, then suck it up and drop the thaumometer into a deconstruction table. I've basically exhausted my use for the mana beans currently, but I figure once I get infusion researched it'll be pretty important as a sort of salis mundus.

Feel free to visit, beyond some magical lamps, lab equipment, and a nifty front door shield I'm afraid There's not much to see, but I feel wonderfully cozy inside, myself.

I have rebuilt my Cliffcrusher after finally getting an emerald for a silky jewel. Endgame OP tools are complete

Thanks to whoever added those charge foci to the Calefactor.

Now I just need to find some snow and I will -Finally- be able to start using magic.

The reason there are so many zombies is because of the Swarming mechanic. It sucks. It is supposed to only work in hard mode, but it works regardless, or the spawn was bumped up.

I just warded my front door so I could have some breathing room to smite them.

swamp helped me fix the problem tohugh.

I'm living amongst the live bait villagers, so the ZOMGZOMBIES FOR EVER 1! problem is hitting me less hard.

That and I have my hammer of wonderfulness. I love my hammer.

I've started up a world in the Horizon's mod pack and I'm liking it so far. Mostly at this point I've been collecting seeds from Pam's Harvestcraft to make some nice meals. I've made a little base and I'm working towards getting certus quartz to make a grindstone to make a tool forge so I can make some nicer tools.

I'm more of a "small compound" than a "fully enclosed base" kind of guy. If anyone has entropy shards I'd really love them, I just need 2 right now, but more would be good, I have piles of lead and silver to trade for.

How's the terrain look? I saw the Horizon pack has ATG.

Lance, if I give you the materials will you be able to make me some Arcane Levitators?

I can't play on the server with the latest update, my game either times out or runs out of memory.

There's a whole bunch of bugs people are experiencing with the normal pack at the moment, so once those are sorted I'll make another update.

@Stinger: It's pretty decent but I haven't really noticed too much variation in terrain heights. I have started up in a forest biome which has large oak trees, making a very nice canopy, rather than vanilla's harsh oppressive forests of short birch and oak trees.

@swamp not yet, but I can get working on those.

I live in a 1 floor house, I hadn't bothered looking into them yet.

Ah, it's fine then. I was gonna start with Thaumcraft anyways so I guess I'll just research towards that.

So. Anyone else see the ending to that Yogscast Galacticraft stream?
