Surgery and Medical Games.:

Everybody's Aunt
I know that there are a handful of games involving surgery, medicine and working in hospitals, but I think most or all of them were on the Wii. Not that I have a problem with that per se, but why weren't there more of that type, and why couldn't some have been on an HD console, for better resolution to see things better, and to attempt to more accurately portray the human anatomy?

That's a good first post I think. Why weren't there more medical games, and why were the games of that type that do exist only on one console?
Newtons Sleep. Good book. Also free, legal, and online.

Three Steps
Isn't this obviously because of the Wii Mote? I'm not a surgeon, so I can't say for sure, but popular perception of the job is that it primarily requires a steady head and all that. I can't really think of a gameplay mechanic that would capture this other than motion controls or perhaps a DS stylus.

Oh, there was a DOS surgery game called Life & Death, if that interests you.

By the power of the Banado.
It's pretty much because of the Wiimote. Someone could try to make one of those games for Kinect, but there's a 146.7% chance that it would be disastrous for both the developers and the patient.

The system doesn't know you right now, so no post button for you.
You need to Get Known to get one of those.
