On TV Tropes, it's very common for editors to misuse appearance tropes, as well as tropes whose names make them sound like they could be appearance tropes.
Meaningful Appearance tropes are often misused in ways that overlook the "Meaningful" aspect, resulting in Zero Context Examples and misuse in the form of examples that have no meaning even if the tropes themselves are not People Sit on Chairs.
The Appearance Tropes Cleanup sandbox covers tropes with potential issues. Tropes that simply require cleanup will go through this thread, while tropes that require more significant action will have to go through the Trope Repair Shop.
April 2, 2023 update: This thread is no longer for making changes to tropes, and was brought back from the Projects Morgue solely for cleanup. Making changes to tropes is still a job for the Trope Repair Shop.

OK, first sentence defines the trope as "Just like blue-haired girls are often introverted, pink-haired girls are often cheery and optimistic, strong and passionate, or sweet and romantic."
Seems like we have three closely related tropes here: Cheerful Rose Hair, Passionate Rose Hair, and Sweet Rose Hair.
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.Strong and passionate links to Fiery Redhead and I wouldn't say they have any overlap in hair color or personality. If this is meant to be the opposite of the Shy Blue-Haired Girl she should be happy and outgoing. I'd call it Cheerful Rose Haired Girl. That would match the picture.
^^How much overlap is there going to be between the first and the third?
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard Feynman'cheerful' and 'sweet' are easy traits to combine. I imagine that, more often than not, they will be overlap.
Bumb.
We might get more activity here if we changed the "Currently on the Table" to Rose Haired Girl.
I support Sweet Rosy Hair or something similar.
The Revolution Will Not Be TropeableThat sounds good. Does anyone know how to change "Currently on the Table"? Calling her sweet is okay but I like cheerful better.
Cheerful is an emotion. Sweet is a character trait.
The Revolution Will Not Be TropeableThat's a good point. In any case, both of them would be more self-evident than the current name.
Is there something besides cheerful that can be and opposite of shy? The pages don't actually say but it seems like Rose Haired Girl and Shy Blue-Haired Girl would be opposites of each other.
don't see how shy people can't be cheerful. Outgoing it the word.
"Extroverted", "upbeat", "congenial", and "sociable" are also antonyms of "shy".

Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.According to the description we're looking for, basically, idealistic, positive, and romantic.
A brief thesaurus binge actually suggests "rosy", but also "affectionate", "buoyant" (o_O), "merry", "sanguine", or "winsome". (I rather like the last.)
The Revolution Will Not Be TropeableI also looked up antonyms for "rosy" and found "sunny", "optimistic", and "vivacious".

Macron's notes"Sanguine" is a good word. It could go alone and get most of the point across.
We have a number of suggestions. Is it time for an Alt Names crowner?
Sanguine makes me think of blood-red before anything else...
Sure.
The Revolution Will Not Be TropeableSanguine isn't very well known a word I would say. What we want is not only outgoing but happy. Is there anything that means outgoing and happy?
The only way that I typically understand "sanguine" is in relation to blood. The choleric/sanguine/the other two has never clicked with me and I'd avoid referring to them in trope names.
Here's an Alternative Titles crowner for Rose Haired Girl. I didn't add all the title suggestions though.
Macron's notesIt's hooked and the title's adjusted.
Perky is outgoing. How would that work?
I like it. It has Added Alliterative Appeal.

How about we move on to Rose Haired Girl, since its been mentioned a few pages back? It's attracting misuse because the name makes it look it's about every girl with pink hair.
