Welcome to the Sons of Anarchy Motorcycle Club. Peace and Prosperity be damned!

The Sons of Anarchy Motorcycle Club is a nation-wide biker gang with chapters all over the United States. This RP follows the Sons of Anarchy chapter in the fictional city of Lancaster, Virginia. You have just been initiated into the gang and now you can live a life of hell-raising and hard partying as a biker. That being said, you'll have to watch out for other rival gangs and the cops!

This RP is set in the universe of Sons Of Anarchy, but is somewhat of an Elsewhere Fic, not taking place in California, but in Southwestern Virginia. Basically, you play a Badass Biker (or even a Biker Babe) and live the life of the Sons.

There is of course, a table of ranks in Biker clubs. The ranks are as follows...

• President: The leader of the chapter and highest-ranking member in a chapter.
  • Player Limit: 1

• Vice President: The second-in-command of the chapter, next in line to become President.
  • Player Limit: 1

• Warlord: Advisor to the President and Vice President
  • Player Limit: 1

• Sergeant-At-Arms: The captains of the gang, they command squads of their fellow bikers.
  • Player Limit: 3

• Full-Patch Member: The soldiers of the gang and full-fledged members of the chapter.
  • Player Limit: Unlimited

• Prospect: Initiate and probationary members, they undergo a series of tests for a year to prove their loyalty and reliability for the club.
  • Player Limit: Unlimited

• Old Lady/Old Dude: The wives and girlfriends (or more rarely, husbands and boyfriends for female members) of the club members. Old Ladies and Old Dudes aren't full-fledged members but trusted and respected associates of the club.
  • Player Limit: Unlimited

Now that we've gotten ranks out of the way, time to address the other gangs of Lancaster....

RIVAL GANGS

There are over 700,000 residents of Lancaster. There are also a lot of gangs that stand in the way of the Sons of Anarchy.

• Mayans Motorcycle Club: A biker gang comprised mostly of Latino bikers (whereas the Sons of Anarchy are multi-ethnic), the Mayans are one of the Sons' chief rivals.

• Otaku Lowriders: A gang modeled after Japanese Delinquents and other Anime archetypes, the Otaku Lowriders are a biker gang of a different sort. Preferring Japanese rice-burner motorcycles over Harleys and ditching the black leather in exchange for anime and cosplay-inspired fashions, the Otaku Lowriders are sometimes allies, and sometimes enemies of the Sons of Anarchy. They usually don't have access to guns, but instead carry bladed weapons and blunt objects into battle. Martial Arts weapons and Medieval Japanese weapons are preferred by them.

• One-Niners: Gangbangers from the inner-city neighborhoods of Lancaster, the One-Niners originated in Los Angeles on 19th Street, but have since had loose-knit chapters spring up all over the country. Generally poorly-organized yet very fierce and determined, the One-Niners can be either friend or foe to the Sons. They often wear purple clothes.

• Celtics: A street gang comprised of Irish and Scottish members, the Celtics are sworn enemies of the Sons of Anarchy's Lancaster Chapter, and are a very violent gang.

• The Mafia: A very well-organized and well-armed Italian gang, The Mafia, also known as La Cosa Nostra, is a force to be reckoned with. The Mafia in Lancaster typically avoids drug trafficking, unlike their fellow Mafiosi in New York City and Chicago, but are heavily involved in nightclubs, gambling, pimping, extortion, white-collar crimes, and black market arms dealing.

• Militia: A group of Western Terrorists without a cause, the Militia are a deadly bunch. They are allied with the Celtics and are dedicated to violently overthrowing the United States government. Many of them have access to Soviet and Chinese military-grade small arms.

LAW ENFORCEMENT

I'm not the law, but these gentlemen are.

• Lancaster City Police Department: The rank-and-file cops of the city, dedicated to protecting and serving the people.

• SWAT: The elite unit of the police, SWAT is often used in dire emergencies such as high-stakes robberies, hostage situations, and riots.

• ATF: The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms is a federal organization dedicated to destroying the gunrunning operations of the Sons of Anarchy.

• US Army: When things get WAY too out of control and a State of Emergency is declared, these guys get called in. It is extremely rare to see them in action against us bikers, and if they are, then shit just got serious.

RULES OF THE RP

• Standard Forum Rules Apply (No god-modding, ghosting, auto-hitting)
• At this moment, only the Sons of Anarchy are playable, but if more people join, then I will allow the other gangs, law enforcement groups, and civilians become playable.

• Appearance: Sonny Watson is a tall man of average build. 30 years old with black hair and blue eyes, Sonny is also clad in a gray western shirt, a black leather vest with the Sons of Anarchy logo on the back of it, fingerless gloves, a silver cross necklace, a studded belt, and blue jeans.

• Personality: Sonny is Hot-Blooded and very dedicated to his club. A decent leader, Sonny cares about the Sons of Anarchy in Lancaster and is willing to do anything to protect his fellow club members.

I might be interested in an RP. Here's my character sheet.

• Name: Jacob Bonds, aka Angry.

• Gender: Male

• Rank: Sgt at Arms.

• Appearance: Big, tall, bald biker stereotype with a mustache and heavy five o'oclock shadow. Tends to favor smart casual clothing, designer hoodies and cargoes, when not in Sons gear. A man who had faced thirty years of abuse and it shows, despite his calm and welcoming demeanor, in his dark features and scowl.

• Personality: Very easy going, which earnt him the ironic tag Angry. Very intelligent. Very eager to help the club even if other members are more skilled. On touchy subjects such as drugs he will try to outline the potential pros and cons as he sees them, though he is sometimes treated as the village idiot. He struggles with depression and alcohol and nicotine addiction, as well as a habit of driving anything on two or four wheels that's not his like an absolute madman.

Rides with a crow eater, Mandy, who is as into the club as he is and he lets wear his cut, something that is a big no no. She has him firmly under her thumb, but tries to be the voice of reason when he feels there needs to be bloodshed or in his call on club business.

May I make a suggestion? This is an idea I've had since the beginning of the show, you don't have to do it of course but I just offer it up for consideration: Set it After the End, in a post-Apocalyptic world of some kind.

If you decide no, would you be interested in participating in an RPG of that kind if I ran it?

I'm doing a modern setting, but I can play in a post-apocalyptic setting

I have one idea for a story. The Sons see a biker abusing and then start belting his old lady. Being the fine upstanding citizens they are the Sons haul him off and beat the crap out of him, however this causes a beef with the club the biker is from.

I like that idea actually. Could spark a war with another biker gang, either the Mayans or a gang from out of town.

The biker sets out on retaliation and draws heat on the Sons perhaps. Whoever beat down the biker is in the dog house with both the Sons or at least the Pres and in the crosshairs of the biker and his mates? Acting without thinking? Could call in whether he was right to defend the woman or wrong to put the club at risk doing so.

Also edited my profile a little, thought the depression angle that worked well with characters like Otto and Ope could also work here.
