Nintendo is RUINING AMERICA'S YOUTH! (In 1991, that is.):
BookendsI don't wanna be saved by the bell... Anyways, I played games in the 90's and I turned out fine! Now excuse me while I teach my pet turtle how to handle Sais...
Fare Thee Well.
Me writing fanfics"If you're an especially good gamer, as in you have the skill of a 9 or 10-year old..." ALL OF MY HATE◊ But seriously, as ridiculous as the video is ("You're going the wrong way, asshole!"), that one quote above just grinded my gears so bad.

UniocularWell it's a good thing society has progressed beyond this. Oh wait... Anyway, I'm totally going out and getting a tight fade. I play too many vidja gaems man.
Crazed LawrencianWatchtower: Well, wasn't that a pretty big demographic back then?
Proud member of the IAA What's the point of being grown up if you can't act childish?
Jonah FalconLook at it this way: we have lawmakers who play World of Warcraft and League of Legends.
Bite my shiny metal behindI don't even remember that news stuff in 1991. I was too busy playing NES.
"Tonight, I dine on Squirtle soup!"
'90s fanboyI remember 1991 fairly well. Back then, it seemed like nobody outside my age group had positive things to say about video games. (There were probably a few adults who played computer games, but I didn't know any at the time.) When confronted with negative media, the only thing a fan could do was send letters to fandom-related magazines... which few people besides other fans read. I find it difficult to believe that any politician or media figure would openly express positive interest in a video game.
Accelolita's ButlerSo there are actually politicians who openly support video games? I can believe though that there are politicians who play video games (our dear President is said to be an avid gamer), I don't know any politician who openly supports video games. I wonder why...
