Search function slowed down drastically.:

Needs Moar Choppa
Any time I use the "search" function at the top, it refuses to load anything. Everything else, on the whole, works fine, both on and off-site.

Are the programmers aware of this issue? Is it being corrected?

Moving to Tech Wishlist. The site search function is provided by Google. If you are having problems with it, it's from them, not us. If you've installed any script blockers or disabled scripting, add exceptions for Google.com.

And allow googleapis scripts.
Those who sacrifice freedom for security deserve neither and will lose both.
To anyone using a script blocker:

Stop it from blocking "Google AJAX Search API." This is what allows the site to search properly. You don't have to simply stop script blockers, just enable that one.

All that is done; Google is functioning just fine on its own. Not sure what the problem is.

I don't have a script blocker on, and I'm just straight-up not getting any results. Regular Google's working just fine.

It's working fine for me (faster than my internet connection, in fact)

I disabled my scriptblocker and I am not getting anything but a loading screen. It has been this way for at least a week.

You need to Get Known to get one of those.
