Guess I'm safe - I don't watch a lot of anime, period - unless it involves Mobile Suits...

Even if I had different face, I AM STILL DISGRACED.

Well at least Japan dodged a bullet by adding a loophole to the new child porn law. [lol]

Do I want to know what that loophole is?

On topic: What do you think will be the hook for this new series? Will it be serialized somewhat like Z or will they just do slice-of-life action/comedy challenges like before?

EDIT: Wait a minute. What Loophole? What law? IT'S STILL FULL OF PORN!

[up][up]I kind of want to ask what the hell you're talking about, but I'm terrified of the answer.

Oh, that loophole. Welp, I never liked looking at live porn in the first place. Especially young children. But anime is totally different since they're not real people.

The articles say this is a "return", not a "reboot". I assume we'll get something almost like the original show but with modern tech (I hope it's Toon Boom-animated).

As long as it's not jittery animation-wise and actually seems consistent in writing.

[up] Seconded, especially on the writing - I can handle artstyle changes, though.

We need entire episodes "shot" from the POV of a supersonic kindergarten girl, with lots of flashes of heat vision, etc.

I'd like for new strong villains (strong in the narrative sense, not necessarily power wise). It's telling most of the really worthy PPG villains debuted in the first ten episodes or so, and while they're great characters, the show tended to rely on them too much while most later villains ranked from lame to mediocre. Even the Rowdyruffs were mostly very challenging one-note overrated Ensemble Darkhorses who owed most of their popularity to mere shipping.

Ooo Ooo Ooo! We need lots of "very special" episodes dealing with homlessness, PTSD, drug use, and military service. evil grin

Pfft, Superman the movie taught the same thing, and how the movie industry can really make it look like someone can fly!

Didn't notice, but Nick Jennings from Adventure Time will serve as Ex. Producer.

Color me intrigued.
