Have you tried switching to, say, Firefox or Opera, just to see if the problem continues? Because if it's happening across multiple browsers, my first thought is that you've been malware infected. My second thought is you need to upgrade.

As for upgrading, I'm working on that. I probably have the money, but generally, money's tight right now.

You should probably still check your computer with some anti-malware programs.

Also, how old is your computer?

Microsoft Security Essentials?
Alt account of Angeldog 2437.I think I got this in either 2005 or 2007.
Well there's your problem. Uninstall flash to help conserve memory for normal operations or use a flash blocker app on Chrome. That will help a lot to make an old machine run smoothly.

Will youtube videos still play without Flash?
Sadly, no.
Every time I switch to another tab, it freezes for a while until I can do anything on it, and it if doesn't unfreeze, I have to close and reopen the tab just to get it to work. Flash crashes constantly, and I always have to refresh every single tab to get rid of that obnoxious message that you get every time it happens. Yes, Chrome, I know Shockwave Flash has crashed. You don't have to tell me every single time like I'm a retard. I dunno if this is my internet or my computer, which also sucks, but whatever it is is causing me mass rage.
