Honestly I don't know if we'll legitimately get to post 4,000; I'm not really sure how many of these posts it'll take to get through all the important and notable things. Anyway, I will get to the third arc when I get to it. Be patient. tongue

Encounter with another dominion

Sometime after Alearth's hideout, I was planning on you guys happening upon a location where another dominion was working. This encounter had actually been in the works for a long time; before Goldilocks was found out as being a succubus, even. This was planned to be one of the major "psst, this character isn't who she seems" hints about Goldilocks in the campaign if you guys hadn't figured it out by then. Also, the dominion was originally planned to be a woman, with my rough idea of her appearance being very similar to what Atomic ended up having Israfel be; since I didn't want the dominion to just be Israfel 2.0, I changed the plan to it being a man.

At first you guys would become aware of one of his two cherubs assisting him, detected by Goldilocks and/or Israfel. With Goldilocks already exposed and Israfel in the party, my latest plan for the encounter was going under the assumption that you guys would probably purposely try to contact him and recruit him. It would take some effort to get him to agree because of Goldilocks, (Doubly so if you guys had "recruited" Alearth and she was still in the party.) but he would be possible to recruit... Temporarily. Later on, he would leave the party on his own assignment from his progenitor angel. No, I had never settled on a name for this dominion, nor had I decided which true angel would be his progenitor other than it wouldn't be Raphael or Michael.

Recruited or not, it would not be difficult to get some extra information from him about what all is going on, primarily something that he knows that Goldilocks and Israfel don't, because he is over 200 years old. So he would be the first opportunity for a particular twist of the overall narrative to come up:

The Cycle

I've hinted, though I've purposely tried to keep the hints vague, that once upon a time Humanity did know about all these monsters and magic and stuff. It's been mentioned that certain old texts on monsters are correct, as well as old occult texts on magic. So what gives?

Well, being over 300, the dominion would be able to reveal this. In the setting, about every 200 years is an event the angels and demons simply refer to as, "The Cycle". This event is a temporary weakening of the fabric of reality between Earth and other dimensions, that lasts for about 10 years at a time. At any time besides The Cycle, it is impossible for anyone or anything to pass between Earth and other dimensions.

Way back, thousands of years ago when the demons first split off from the angels, they had a big fight about it on Earth during The Cycle, and things were starting to get out of hand with the collateral damage. To protect Humanity, the angels taught Humans about magic, specifically the powerful seals that Goldilocks told you guys about, to keep the demons from simply pouring in by the truck load every time The Cycle came around. Since then, while the demons couldn't pour through, they could still send very limited forces through, and The Cycle had since become a secret war of skirmishes between demons trying to destroy the seals before The Cycle ended, and angels and what few Humans knew trying to stop them.

This is why there are texts from the 1800s and earlier that treat vampires, werewolves, demons, and magic as if they're real things, and are correct; they are instructional books written by Humans who took part in these skirmishes. And the dominion is able to tell you about all this because he participated in the last time The Cycle came around.

The reason the current apocalypse is, well, the apocalypse, is because between the last turn in The Cycle and this one, Humanity as a whole forgot about all this; demons, magic, werewolves, vampires, and the like all became fiction, with only cooked-up crazies thinking they were actually real. Thus all of the great seals except for Stonehenge were lost. With only the one seal still intact, on December 21st, 2012 when The Cycle started again, the demons as well as Cthulians and Fair Folk were able to come in in droves.

I bet you were for a brief moment dismayed and/or annoyed that I had taken the "4,000th" post then?

Also what, no comment on my actual post? This was going to be one of the big reveals. tongue

Oh not at all. That reveal is actually really cool. I had wondered why we had known about monsters as fictional and, yet, those same monsters manifested in reality. I had actually thought that the demons created those monsters based on humans' fears and could, theoretically, taken any shape but the demons just thought it would be amusing to pit all of our fictional nightmares against us.

Well that would seem a little inconsistent, as clearly the demons are in it to win it, so if they could create anything you'd think they'd make something more effective than they have so far. tongue

Though, they kind of can create anything, just the stronger and smarter it is, the harder it is to make and thus the less of it they can make; and the demons are very much so a quantity over quality sort.

Anyway, sorry about the delay again; the last few days have just kinda been weird for me overall, and I've barely been able to keep up with my own RP. But, I should be able to get the next part up tonight for sure; I've just got writer's block right now and want to catch up on some other things anyway, so it's probably going to be at least a couple hours.

Well that certainly took longer than a couple hours. I haven't gone to bed yet, so I still count this as the same night. Anyway:

Meeting your first witch

After the dominion, then next major encounter was going to be with a legitimate member of The Coven, AKA, a witch. For you guys, the initial part of the encounter would be spotting a lone cabin and realizing that it seems to be occupied. If you guys spied on it, you would quickly learn that there seemed to be only one occupant; a Caucasian woman in her mid thirties or so with mid-back length, (if it were straight) curly, brown hair, sporting a floral patterned dress and a pair of large, round glasses. She would almost certainly know you guys were spying on her, because witch, but would also pretend not to know, because witch.

How the encounter went from there would be extremely dependent on what you guys did, especially if you decided to enter peacefully, and who came in with when doing so. She would welcome you guys if you just openly walked up. Now why it's so dependent on who comes in is that, above the doorway she has a number of bells put up; the kind that jingle when someone comes through the door, yeah? But, she's put some spells on them, so that a different one will jingle depending on what comes through the door, each with a distinctive sound.

This means that despite whatever disguises they may be sporting/however they hide, if Goldilocks, Israfel, Shinespark, Arthur, Emerson, Alearth, the other dominion or either of its cherubs came through the door, she would know what they were and that they were in the cabin. As you can imagine, whatever specific combination thereof that initially came through would drastically change her overall response: Anywhere from immediate admission of her true identity and offering to help; (if it's just the angels) feigning obliviousness until an opportunity to strike presented itself; (if just the demons and possibly Arthur & Emerson) or just straight up flabbergasted confusion. (namely if any combination of both demon and angel came through)

In general though, assuming none of the above examples, she for the most part would maintain the charade she's had going there; she's basically pretending to be a crazy lady alone in the woods who's afraid of society despite the safety society provides. (In fact part of her act is being paranoid that in a society you never know if the people around you are people or monsters in disguise; at least being alone gives you that peace of mind.) And she'd just generally act extremely eccentric whilst secretly preparing to fuck you guys up if you didn't leave or tried to start anything.

However, from what I can guess of how you guys would've likely acted, just having GMed for your characters as long as I did, the most likely outcome would be her quickly revealing herself as a witch and offering to tag along. So in terms of plans for her after that, as much as I did plan before we ended, I've been working under the assumption that you guys would probably end up recruiting her into the team.

Now, once she's on the team, it would be possible to end up learning from her the secret of the Coven's powers; she wouldn't tell you, but it would be possible to spot it and from there pretty easily figure it out on your own. Then once you had figured it out on your own, she would be willing though reluctant to explain the whole thing to you. While this could happen pretty soon, I don't think it would've likely happened until sometime later in the campaign; but since I don't know how long that would be and never planned a specific reveal in case you guys didn't find out, I'll talk about it now.

The Coven's source of their powers

The answer is actually fairly short, and thus possibly an unsatisfying one; though the explanation takes a bit more though. I'm mostly curious though if any of you spotted the hints for it already present. Remember how all demons, angels, and their specific equipment all turns to dust when they die?.. Now do you remember the one exception to that? The little, seemingly glass orbs that dominions use as spell amplifiers that nobody seems to have figured out how to use? Yeah, the Coven knows how to use them as Humans.

The answer is deceptively simple, and yet isn't the same way dominions use them: (Which is why Israfel didn't know and thus wouldn't have been able to teach to any of you.) To use one properly as a Human requires a specific state of mind as one uses it, a sort of calm confidence and self determination; note it doesn't require them to be like that all the time, which is why she can do the crazy eccentric lady act, but it does basically have to reflect their real personality. This is why they've described it as "something that not everyone can do, but can be taught."

This is also just another reason why the NCC has a kill on sight order against them; every member of the coven has one of the dominion orbs, (they obtained them legitimately, mostly from the remains of dominions who had died against actual enemies.) which means the ones who have been caught have had them on their person when caught. The NCC, as should be expected of who they are, naturally question anyone claiming to be "witch" or "warlock" in possession of a dominion orb extremely harshly, but the Coven being the Coven, they've never revealed to the NCC the true story about that. Assuming the worst, that the Coven is openly targeting dominions and stealing their orbs or just killing them, (even though this isn't the case) the NCC has just defaulted to "kill all of them."

This is also, if you remember the conversation with Gameknight about this, about why nobody can possibly infiltrate the Coven or any split-off thereof successfully. As soon as there is any doubt about who you are, (which as mentioned in the conversation would be immediately as soon as he couldn't properly display skill in magic) they just ask, "where the heck is your orb?" And as soon as you failed to produce one you would be found out; even if you did have an orb, then as soon as you produced it yet failed to properly use it you would be found out. So as I mentioned at the time, it is simply impossible to successfully infiltrate the Coven; let alone manage to trick them into teaching you a bunch of magic. It just could not happen, period.

On a side note, no I hadn't settled on a name for the witch and was planning on just using a random generator of real names shortly before the encounter was actually going to happen. The only intention I had in terms of that was not naming her Sabrina.

Speaking of which though, I realize there was something I accidentally skipped which I'll have to go back to in the same post: The return message to Israfel from Raphael.

Raphael's message

For posterity's sake, since I meant to be posting the spoilers/future set pieces in chronological order, I'm going to mention here that this should have come sooner but I forgot about it then. Specifically, it should've come before Alearth's hideout.

Anyway, the contents of the message would obviously be sent to Atomic in a PM, and it would thus be up to him how much, if any, of the message Israfel relayed to the party. But given the circumstances, I'm just going to lay out the contents of the message for all to see. Not the exact contents, but the overall idea of.

Note that this would all be a much more grandiose kind of wording, because angels, but the first jist of the message is that Israfel's current mission (keeping tabs on Humans covertly) is now void, and she's to turn her full attention to stopping Mephisto's plot. To this end, she is to consider Goldilocks, the rest of the party, and to a lesser extent even herself and Shinespark, as all expendable; stopping Mephisto is to be her first and only priority until further notice. Also, she still needs to keep tab on Goldilocks, with instructions that the succubus should be expected to betray the party at some point.

That's what I figure you guys could've probably guessed/expected; but the end addendum is what I think would've been a curve ball for Atomic, and anyone that it got shared to. Raphael also gives Israfel orders on what to do if Mephisto succeeds and Lucifer comes to Earth: Surrender to him unconditionally and immediately. Then, even furthermore, forward a message to Lucifer from Michael himself, an admittance of defeat for the entirety of the angels, and thus submission to his rule.

This was, and in a way still is, a hinting of the overall plot line, a nudging towards truths which are still hidden from you...

Slender Man
actually an expy, really

Oh yes, you guys were going to get a Slender Man boss fight. evil grin This is what my hint two posts ago was about. Oh, and something else to know? He's already in the bestiary; I wanna know who can guess what he is in it before seeing the answer later down this post.

Anyway, this is another piece of the RP that has been planned, at least in its general form, for a long time now; before Goldilocks was revealed as the succubus, before Gameknight made that WTF overpowered suggestion of a monster based on Slender Man, and before Slender Man was actually in the bestiary...

It would start with you guys having to stop while traveling through a forest; I hadn't figured out a reason to use in the game yet, but I probably would've gone with something simple, like somebody needing to go to the bathroom. As you guys are stopped, you become increasingly aware of the feeling of being watched; since I expect most of you would have your characters on alert, I would pick one of you, not Israfel, at random, and send you a PM. The PM's contents, plus maybe a couple other things, would include a passage like this:

As CHARACTER looked around the forest, the feeling of being watched got stronger, but all they could see were trees. A tree with no leaves, a tree with half of its leaves, a tree with leaves up at the top, a tree with full leaves, a tree-like figure with no face, another tree with no leaves, a tree with dead leaves...

...

When CHARACTER looked back to where the figure had been, it was gone.

In addition, I would've selected one of the NPCs, not Goldilocks, to have also seen it.

Now, as a reminder, prior to December 21st, 2012, the RP setting is assumed to be mostly identical to real life; with the exceptions to that being mostly in the realm of 200 years back or further, what with The Cycle I talked about before. Slender Man, being a creepy pasta started in 2009 that took off not long after, and with inspirations before then, was definitely a thing on the internet in the RP.

In other words, the two people who spotted it would almost certainly recognize it as Slender Man; this is why Goldilocks and Israfel wouldn't be chosen, because they don't know about Slender Man and wouldn't recognize it as such. My hope is that then an argument would break out, as those two would insist that they just saw Slender Man, Goldilocks and Israfel would be confused because they don't know of such a thing, (This actually being planned way back when as another hint that "Lisa" wasn't who she seemed.) and others insisting that they couldn't have because Slender Man is fake.

But whether you guys wasted time and argued or did actually manage to start leaving immediately, it wouldn't be long until Slender Man is upon you. Initially striking at someone who wasn't paying attention, you guys would finally get a more accurate description of Slender Man now that he's up close.

At first glance, it looked like the lanky man was wearing a suit, but in reality it was actually tree bark that had been burned and charred to a black color. The white head of the figure was wood that had been stripped of its bark, which together with the black bark gave the imitation of a man in black suit, but similarly explained the lack of features and the ability to blend in with the trees so well.

"Slender Man" is a Skarecrow, a Wickerman, a Forgotten. Specifically, he is the first known tree Skarecrow, which gives him greater endurance, more lethality, and less vulnerability to fire than the Skarecrows your characters know about from GPS. Between his stealth in the trees and incredible speed, the boss fight at this point would be about just surviving while he hunts and toys with you guys, while also searching for the tree that he's respawning from.

Eventually you guys would find it; a dead tree in the middle of a clearing, charred black as if from fire with a strip of exposed wood running along one side. From here, there's now hope, as the fight is winnable; destroying the tree will kill him for good. But he knows this as well, so as he respawns for the latest time, he stops toying around and starts to fight for real.

Slender Man was the first really difficult boss fight I had planned, and while I don't explicitly plan character deaths, I'll be honest and say that I'd be surprised if nobody in the party died. He has the ability to close distance very rapidly, and can kill just about anyone in the party in seconds by eviscerating them.

Anyway, I originally got the idea of Slender Man being some tree-based monster from a variation of Slender Man that I heard about where that was the case; in that, Slender Man was literally the spirit of an angry tree out to kill people, whereas here he's the angry spirit of a guy who was murdered and ended up under a tree. As said, I had the boss fight idea before Fantasy suggested the Skarecrow, so when he did I realized that was my opportunity to put Slender Man into the bestiary proper without it being immediately obvious that it would be him.

Well, after much thought, I think I was going to have a yeti fight and a battle against a giant ant colony as major events before you guys reached the East Coast; but those encounters never really had anything about them fleshed out, nor were they particularly notable besides the fact that they involved rare monsters. So I will skip them and next go to the arrival at the U.N.A.M. port base on the East Coast you guys were headed to. This will likely be a multi-part thing to post, and it'll probably be a few more days still until I get the first part done as I'm somewhat busy in real life lately.

On a side note, I'm fairly positive that Alearth would've gotten her chance to betray the party and thus get killed before you guys reached the U.N.A.M. base, so I'm gonna stop making any references to contingencies of her still being there.

Darkwing

Before getting to the East Coast, you guys would've happened upon at least one more little town, and at one of them, you guys would've re-encountered Darkwing. But of course, being a succubus and knowing how to keep demons and angels from detecting her, you wouldn't know it was Darkwing at first.

The main notable thing about the little town, is that it has a church. And, as it seems to be the party's modus operandi, I would assume you guys to go looking around the town for any helpful trade deals you can find. During this, a nun of all people would approach part of the group; whichever part had Red in it. Besides just looking like a nun, she has a necklace chain with a crucifix on it dangling from her hands, held together like in prayer; she offers a quick blessing and prayer to each of them, stopping with Red to mention that he seems especially troubled, and that he should try coming to the church to ease his mind.

... See, the trick about crucifixes in this setting, is that they have to touch a demon or undead in order to work, so a crucifix dangling from a chain in their hands, while convincing, ultimately means nothing. While I would not expect Red to go to the church alone, for the scenario to play out in the form I had hoped for, he would fall for the trap and go there.

Inside the church it's somewhat dark, and the nun slips out of view. Then Darkwing starts to taunt Red, her voice echoing from somewhere up in the rafters. I forget the dialogue I was going to use exactly, but basically she was going to toy with him being mad about his dead wife and maybe talk about the sort of things she might do with his daughter. Once done with that, she'd reveal what she did with said wife; an abomination adorned with the head of Red's wife comes clambering forward from behind the main altar and charges for him, while Darkwing swoops down from above to start combat with whoever else followed.

The abomination was meant to be more psychological, while Darkwing would be the actual difficult part of the fight. Being a succubus who trains for combat more than deception, she's prepared before the battle with enchantments that make her much more resistant to bullets, (Like you guys saw back when Red shot at her the first time.) and armed with a pair of chaos enchanted katars that absorb blood to heal the wielder. (In other words they have a vampiric effect, and she gets health back each time she hits someone.)

Now, after the battle's over you guys can loot the katars, but being chaos enchanted no Human member of the party could safely use them; any who did would get slowly corrupted over time and basically turn evil, eventually. So of the party members who matter, only Goldilocks or Israfel could really put them to use.

Right, now given my schedule for this week and that I'm putting more priority on other things usually, it's probably going to be a while until I get the next thing posted, again. Unfortunately I can't even give a good ETA, sorry. =/

Gheesh, every day I wanted to work on this I was too distracted or exhausted or busy; and every day I wasn't distracted, exhausted, or busy, I had writer's block. But, here it is, finally.

The U.N.A.M. base

Now, given that Earl was planning on coming here, and that Israfel is no longer under orders to keep up any disguise, I would assume you guys would probably plan on approaching openly. This would be the best call, as this is a U.N.A.M. port guarded by trained soldiers, not some back country city guarded by cops and volunteers. You guys could try to sneak in, but you would almost certainly be caught, (Even Goldilocks wouldn't think that she'd be able to sneak in.) and upon getting caught you guys would be in serious trouble; in fact Goldilocks and Arthur would pretty much be immediately shot unless Israfel exposed herself to make the guards think twice.

At the gate they're checking everyone and searching all vehicles, making every person show their face and arms and submit to silver & crucifix testing. (The face and arms is because they've been having problems with merfolk, if you guys were to ask. Silver and crucifixes don't do anything to Cthulians.) So pretty much no matter which way you cut it, these guys are going to know that Goldilocks is a succubus, and that Arthur is a runner.

Fortunately for you guys, Goldilocks' little "interview" with the GPS characters along with all the spreading word about Mephisto hasn't been for naught, and the military here are willing to hear you guys out rather than kill you outright; though Goldilocks is getting thrown in a cell for a while no matter what, as they don't trust letting her be out and about.

So you guys would be escorted through the rest of the port area, where the civilians and traders are, to the proper U.N.A.M. headquarters of it. Coincidentally, this is where I was thinking of having the (very) brief Bill Murray cameo; you guys would see him chatting with some people through a chain link fence during the walk. Inside the headquarters, most of you guys would be sent to wait, here specifically is where Goldilocks would get thrown in a cell, and a few of you would be sent to talk with the U.N.A.M. base commander: Israfel, Earl, and whatever other Player Characters felt like going. (Though I would probably try to ensure that each Player had at least one character go.)

The commander, who I had not yet named because usually I just get a random name generator shortly before actually posting said character name, is not too pleased. There was a sort of background plot line Gameknight wanted to have going that he discussed with me, about his mercenary characters paying off African rebels and bandits into betraying their own bosses and going North towards U.N.A.M. held Egypt, to later join the fight against Mephisto; this is where I was going to bring up how that was going. Of those that they paid off, half never showed up at the Egyptian border at all; they had just taken the money Gameknight's characters paid them and fucked off, because like hell they were actually going to risk their lives. Of those that did show up, half of those just used the arrangement as a setup to get past the U.N.A.M. lines to start doing their usual looting, kidnapping and raping women, and all that jazz. So all in all, the plan of Gameknight's characters only had a quarter of it work, and actually caused more trouble than it did help, so right off the bat the U.N.A.M. commander is understandably pissed off with Gameknight's characters. "You paid people willing to shoot their own bosses; what the hell did you think was going to happen?!" was more or less going to be the theme on that front.

Other than that, the U.N.A.M. commander pretty much finds it impossible to believe that Goldilocks is actually good, and doesn't see why he should allow her to continue living; let alone trust her with the fate of the world. You guys have the saving grace of Israfel in the party, yes, but this is the U.N.A.M. you're dealing with, not the NCC; that just gets you some legitimacy, rather than waiting on her hand and foot.

So you guys get into a talky part where you need to convince a U.N.A.M. commander that isn't feeling too fond of your party to lend what help he can. Getting the full support of his forces would be impossible; there's still another demon warlord and its forces off on the West side of the US, and U.N.A.M. needs this base working to keep supplies and troops headed over that way. But assuming you guys play your cards right, you'll get him to reluctantly set up passage for you guys across the Atlantic, and maybe send some guys with you. Then you guys would be dismissed, which would be your chance to go buy stuff from the port.

It's after the meeting with the commander that you guys would meet a couple of notable characters: Stephen Rorrik and Sergeant Ricollister, the half werewolf and half skeleton from the side stories post. Rorrik's got plans to go West, but Sergeant Ricollister is currently without orders because they're not sure what to do with him right now, so you guys could recruit the skeleton into the party.

That's not the end of the events at the port yet, but this seems like a big enough post for now, and that's a good stopping point. Once again I don't know when I'll be able to post the next part, but hopefully it won't be as long as this one was.

Cool. How many soldiers could we potentially have gotten to come with us?

At most the commander would agree to send a squad with you; probably about eight guys or so, plus possibly Sergeant Ricollister.

But how many you guys actually got along with you would probably differ on whatever agreement or lack thereof you came to with the commander. (I forgot to mention, even if you guys failed the talking bit and got thrown in prison, the game would still easily continue.) And that's because, well as you may be able to guess, leaving the port isn't exactly going to go according to the party's plan.

But I'll get to that... Sometime. Knowing my upcoming schedule, my best time to work on the next progression post will be around the middle-end of this upcoming week: Thursday/Friday or thereabouts. But I can't guarantee of course.

Well, the estimate in my last post was thrown through a loop by my parents going out of town and me having to take on more chores; really amped up my selective writer's block. Hopefully I can get back on this more regularly, though work is finally giving me more hours lately, so we'll see how that goes I guess.

A quick scene with Mephisto

After you guys were done with your shopping or it had been long enough, I was planning one of those cutaway to the villain posts. In it Mephisto is actually just outside the U.N.A.M. held port, currently looking over it while talking to some cultists he's recruited. I hadn't planned out the conversation word for word, but the important thing is that they're discussing how to make sure that his plan can't be stopped and to root out further Human resistance, U.N.A.M. in particular; the cultist brings up a Human saying to Mephisto: "cut off the head, and the body will die", then goes on to point out that the very top brass of U.N.A.M. are known to hang out on a cruise liner in the Atlanic, pretty much along the path Mephisto needs to take anyway.

Mephisto turns to look at the sea, and comments that "it's time to make our mutual enemy work towards my own ends..."

Back to you guys, and things going wrong

As we get back to you guys, exactly what you see at first depends on where you would have been when it started, but you would definitely start to hear the chaos; a quite sizable shoggoth emerges from the water and starts to tear into one of the U.N.A.M. military ships to get at the crew inside, while some minor cthulians emerge from the water as well to assault the port. Understandably, the whole place gets into a panic about this, which if you had been jailed, would be the opportunity to get the hell outta there.

This is not a fight you guys are meant to win or stick around for; preferrably you would just go for a boat while you could. Oh, and Goldilocks would still go into the "kill ALL the cthulians!" frenzy, so somebody would have to knock her out, (Probably Arthur since he doesn't like her.) and she wouldn't be able to help during all this. evil grin Also sometime during this, I was planning on at least some of you spotting Mephisto getting into a plane with his cultists and his top succubi & incubi; you could try to stop him, but he'd do that magic shield trick the lich did earlier in the game around the whole plane, so pretty much they'd be getting away no matter what.

Unfortunately, there's no other planes to take, and there's no time to waste; you guys would be forced to pick one of the docked boats to start crossing the ocean, and there would hopefully be a hectic and exciting fight to keep the shoggoth and other cthulians away from the boat as the crew get up to speed and away from the port.

Of course, with Mephisto in a plane, the group now knows that he'll get to Britain way before they do, so you may have to start coming up with a new game plan. Goldilocks knows of a powerful dispell ritual that might do the trick, but it requires an ingredient that only Elves would have, and the only place to possibly find where they keep it is on something the Elves have kept magically hidden from Humans: a floating island.

... And as it just so happens, one of the boat crew is actually that Elf you guys met earlier in the RP.

Larry wasn't it? Also - in your next post, could you say where Coline came from and why she was in America? I don't know if we ever got to that.

I honestly feel like this could be brought back to life, just have it be a group of travellers, like a group of survivors trying to make do and on the move and trying to piece what's going on together as they meet these things.

Good to be back
