I got an editor meeting of sorts coming up, what should I expect?

A couple of years back, a friend of my Dad's stayed over at our house while she was in the country and we talked about my novel. As it just so coincidentally happens, she had experience as a publisher for several books and she offered to be my editor. Next week she's coming back and most likely going to take a look at it but what should I show? A certain number of chapters, talk to her about the plot as well?

You want to make it as convenient as possible for this lady. She's not going to be able to read more than a few pages unless she's staying a full week. Give her a paragraph-long summary of your book and a chapter-by-chapter outline.

You should definitely google her and see if she has any information posted somewhere on what she likes, submission wise. And if any of her preferences go against any advice you get, go with her preferences.
