Depends on what you mean by a show about the Pie sisters. Is the show a prequel to the main series focusing on Pinkie and her sisters or something else?

Season 6 is going to have an episode called "Flutter Brutter" which is presumably about Fluttershy's brother. I'll be curious to see what he'll be like!

Maybe Season 6 will have a general theme of focusing on the families of the Mane 6 along with the "Exploring Equestria" theme? We might visit Babs in Manehatten, Twilight is getting a baby niece, and now we have an episode that is highly likely to be about Fluttershy's brother.

An initial comment I have about the "stopping eternal winter" plot is, I wonder if the Crystal Ponies have their own equivalent of Winter Wrap Up, or if their seasons work differently than in Ponyville, such as having Cadance and Shining Armor manipulate them (like how Twilight said that in Canterlot, the seasons are changed with unicorn magic) or maybe their seasons are connected to the Crystal Heart.

It would be interesting if some of this season focused on the possibility of Equestrian magic changing, like scientific facts changing to suit new evidence. Each season since the second one, we have had at least one major plot point break what ponies know about magic. Twilight becomes an Alicorn despite the fans apparently thinking you could only be born one. Now we get a baby alicorn who IS born like one?

I mean, is anyone surprised that she's showing up? Discord had a major role in a season premiere after his redemption too. The real question is if how often she shows up after this.
