Can we, similar to the death or ending indexes, make a rule for this index that all tropes (minus the "planners" subindex) must have all spoiler code unmarked? It's kind of hard to write an example without delving into spoilers, so I was told that I should go here by someone on ATT.
No, the other one. Those aren't tropes that are spoilers by default, or at least entirely, so I don't think it's a good idea.

A worm for ChristmasTag fixed. I am personally neutral on this; unlike Death Tropes, not everything here is spoiler. Also requested thread move, because this isn't about repairing any page but about trope classification (here: whether this is a spoiler trope), and the latter goes into Trope Talk at least at the beginning.
The vast majority of these tropes can't have an example written without spoilers. I am not against spoilers, but for some of the examples on those pages, only one or two words are not in spoiler code.
Rhymes with "Protracted."
No, the other one. It's about the trope pages on the index. The thing is, not everything is a spoiler, and if people see it that way, they're going to be accidentally spoiled when they ignore the warning. Death Tropes and Ending Tropes have a natural correlation to spoilers, so people are more wary about them. Also, "some examples are almost entirely in spoiler code" isn't what I'd say qualifies as a reason to remove all spoiler code. That there are some spoilers in most examples indicate to me that it's possible to write a great deal without spoiling anything.

This isn't universal to the index. Some tropes on it have very little spoiler text at all. If a trope on the list really is Spoilered Rotten to the point of looking like Swiss cheese, then bring up a case for de-spoilering that trope.
Hey, I'm new here and I don't know how to make a tearjerker page for Jessie series. Any ideas?
A worm for ChristmasGo to Jessie, then hit the "edit button". Before that, though, take time to read through Administrivia and Welcome to TV Tropes - something tells me you'll need it.

The system doesn't know you right now, so no post button for you.
You need to Get Known to get one of those.
