Man, it looks gorgeous.
Watch SymphogearYes animation were good (Jun Nakai always does good job), though so far I am not realy impressed by anything else. So I look forward next episode to convice me. Anyway if it will not go too BL direction, I will stick with it (most likely).
So I have no idea what this is about.
But it's pretty.
And there's a kitten.
"If you aren't him, then you apparently got your brain from the same discount retailer, so..." - FighteerVery pretty, and it seems fairly interesting. On the other hand, it seems to be based on the idea of 'cool' from the '90s, and I'm not sure how well Isana is going to work as the protagonist. Still, going to be watching
He seems pretty unique so far, and I like how he just steals food like a hobo.
And of course, the cat had to have a nude female human form, of course. Japan and their catgirls, huh?

Watch SymphogearSo Isana on the video feed at the end is probably the hyde to the real Isana's jeckyll or a Superpowered Evil Side. It's either one of the 2, I think.
And damn, I still think the little cats human form is pretty damn good looking, and it seems we get her backstory next episode

Watch SymphogearThat was one of the prettiest what the fuck did I just watch episodes of an anime I have ever seen.
Yes it is to me too.
Still not as what the fuckery as Kyoukai Senjou No Horizon's first episode, but still pretty damn up there.
Watch Symphogear...You guys haven't been checking out much of the new anime, I take it. This was fairly straightforward compared to some of the others
Oh, I have been.
Hagure Yuusha No Estetica, for instance.

Watch SymphogearYeah, I noticed that, too.
Watch SymphogearThe English at the beginning was amazing.
"If you aren't him, then you apparently got your brain from the same discount retailer, so..." - FighteerI just realized something. The main character is a White-Haired Pretty Boy and the other guy is a badass with a dark-haired ponytail. I think Japan's ran out of new ideas for fangirl shipping baits.

Don't mind me. I'm just a creepy little lurker.I was thinking 'oh look, Surprisingly Good English!' And then I heard some of the other grunts talking and started wishing the subbers had translated the subtitles so I could understand what they were saying.

"Canada Day is over, and now begins the endless dark of the Canada Night."At least it has some sexy females.
Watch SymphogearInteresting how all the episodes begin with the same letter.
"If you aren't him, then you apparently got your brain from the same discount retailer, so..." - FighteerYeah, that's another thing- we have the fanservice cat girl, and we have Isana blushing when the black-haired guy pulled him in.
Feels like they're trying to put in fanservice for both genders, but are in fact playing a very dangerous game where they could end up alienating both.
One thing I will say about this show, though- It is ambitious. I can't tell whether it'll end up being good or bad, but I can feel the creative staff putting a lot of effort into it, not just with good animation and high-end Seiyuu, but there's also a clear attempt here to be different, to make it stand out from the crowd.

"Canada Day is over, and now begins the endless dark of the Canada Night."Eh, they might as well end up making everyone Bi.
Watch SymphogearNot a bad first episode.
At the very least, it sure looks nice in terms of visuals.
It's got the pacing of Durarara. I didn't hate it like I thought I would, but I honestly can't say I like it at this stage.
It is probably the most detailed anime city I've seen so far. It seems very urban themed.
Well, watching one more episode of it can't hurt. Hopefully the characters will distinguish themselves. Or something.
"Nullius addictus iurare in verba magistri, quo me cumque rapit tempestas, deferor hospes."Yeah, I can see that the biggest possible pitfall for this show is that it might end up trying too hard.
"If you aren't him, then you apparently got your brain from the same discount retailer, so..." - FighteerGuilty K, anyone? I keed, I keed.
Can be seen here for those of you who aren't region blocked by Hulu.
Ho. Ly. Shit. That was awesome.
I mean, the plot is still very vague, but that has got to be some of the best TV anime animation I've ever seen.
Thoughts?
Don't mind me. I'm just a creepy little lurker.
