I think I own it from gog, but haven't had time to play it if I recall right.
Time to change the style, for now

Nope. Never heard of it, either.
Would you believe I never fully watched the original Indiana Jones trilogy? I gotta correct that someday.
Das kann doch nicht sein!
I have it, but I haven't played it much. Actually, the only thing I ever did was searching planets for resources.

I never even managed to get the second game to run.
People aren't as awful as the internet makes them out to be.

I do plan to play it more when I have time and motivation

I heard of it eventually thanks to the Star Control community on the UQM forums, and have played a bit through the first one. The similarities are very clear, and Paul Reiche III even shows up in the "Special Thanks" section of the Starflight credits.

Didn't really get too far, though; it's quite tough in the early game, and if you run into the Uhleks, you are just screwed.

Also note that the home computer versions and the Sega Genesis version are very different in terms of game mechanics. I learned this the hard way when taking a planetary lander on water; in the computer versions, it just makes your lander really slow and fuel-inefficient, but in the Genesis version, you have Super Drowning Skills if you don't buy the pontoons! (And that's just the tip of the iceberg...)

The system doesn't know you right now, so no post button for you.
You need to Get Known to get one of those.
