Spoiler: Dug Too Deep

It shows !!Massive Spoilers!! from Dwarf Fortress. You're not supposed to know about the Hidden Fun Stuff until you come across it yourself.

If we remove the image pothole it'll be fine, since there will be no way to associate it with Dwarf Fortress so no part of that game will be spoiled; even an experienced player wouldn't realise what it is. (The caption one can stay because people'll just think it's a reference.)

And then it'll show up in "Image Source Needed". Doesn't seem like a good idea.

Is the fact that there are things underground trying to kill you in a game where everything is trying to kill you really a spoiler?

It's one of those Do Not Spoil This Ending things. It might not be a huge spoiler, but it's probably disrespectful to have it there.

Place a hidden note on the page about the source and why it's not potholed?

Wasn't that image one a Troper made themselves? Dwarf Fortress isn't the source, it's the inspiration. So you can remove the link safely, and just associate it with digging down into hell. (A joke I've seen in a comic from the '50s, and probably even earlier, so it's hardly like DF invented the concept.)

Which troper made it is the question, though.

The image was created by Geoduck, so I removed the link to the game, and left in the creator bit. That means there's still a source to it.

I moved the attribution to a commented-out note, since there are a couple other troper-made images and none of them are labelled that way.
