Does Not Illustrate: Emergency Weapon

It's an image of a spoon. The picture does not illustrate whether, when, or how this is used as an emergency weapon.

I'm inclined to say Keep Until Better Image Suggested, but I agree that it's kinda weak. Chainsaw◊?

A shot showing the spoon actually being used against something would probably be better.

That, or its Doom equivalent, the fist.

A spoon looks more like a Joke Weapon, honestly. And while a chainsaw is occasionally used for the trope, this isn't what most would associate it with.

What if I got an image from Team Fortress 2 of all of the classes pointing their guns at a player character as the Heavy, and having him with only his fists out?

Not meant to be a weapon, but a pretty decent one in a pinch.

A screenshot with the hand holding a crowbar while a group of headcrabs and/or headcrab zombies could illustrate the concept. It'd show that the character is preparing to defend himself with what's usually a noncombat tool.

EDIT: How's this? Back against the wall, fending off encroaching enemies with a crowbar.

Crowbar Combatant already uses that, I'm afraid.

I kind of think it fits there better.

Not sure that adds anything. It could be an Improvised Weapon, or something that character wields the whole game, or... lots of things that aren't Emergency Weapon. It is just an example above the example line.

If it were already up I'd probably say "keep", but adding it seems odd. (There is some inertia associated with being on the page already, I don't think it's wrong to make a distinction between leaving and making a page imageless.)

Well, the tropes do have a significant overlap, since in an emergency, you do use whatever you can that works. The crowbar on the wall works too, even if it's a little too literal for my taste.

I'm not really crazy about any of them, but I like the crowbar best...crowner?

I nominate "no image".

We could have an image of a character going from full-heavy-armor-BFG in one half to almost naked and with a wimpy weapon in the other half.

Like, say, Samus Aran -> Zero Suit Samus.

I'd suggest a picture of an extremely deadly-looking gun, with a knife next to it. Caption: "Too bad you're out of ammo."

Ok, I don't have a concrete suggestion, because I don't play this sort of game, but would some sort of shot of an inventory screen; showing a bunch of big, bad weapons but no ammo, and the Emergency Weapon available work?
