Yes. The only possible thing I could think to rework this into is so far distanced from the intent of the trope that it doesn't even warrant discussion. It was mentioned above.
What redirects? There are none.
Okay, we're going to be getting rid of this I think. Mods will probably want to wait a little longer before calling it since it's not at 15 votes yet, but in the meantime where should we redirect this to? If all of our hits were coming from that forum talking about unfortunate implications I think it should probably go to Double Standard or Unfortunate Implications even if that has nothing to do with what the trope thinks it's trying to be.
someoneI'd rather delete. It would look weird if GirlNoticesFirst links to DoubleStandard or UnfortunateImplications.
Puʻu ʻŌʻōWe are not deleting 117 inbounds.
:(Eddie nuked most of the description. I'm also a little lost - why don't we cut things with inbounds?
First key to interpreting a work: Things mean things.
The idea is that if anyone follows the link again in the future we don't want them to end up at a blank page.
But if this page doesn't exist anymore, where do we want them to end up at? Which is better, a blank page, or a completely different page from what you thought the title was?
the it-thingyIt could redirect to Romance Tropes. EDIT: What. What's the index I'm thinking of?

Maybe it's Love Tropes? Anyway, we obviously have no good ideas on where to send those inbounds. If we absolutely can't cut it I say Double Standard since that's what the trope thinks it's a subtrope of.
I'm not sure it does think it's a Double Standard, except for the wholly-implicit assumption that it's an "exception" to the "rule" that the boy usually notices first. It's just the article linking to it that's putting it in that context. If all the inbounds are coming from a single source, perhaps we could contact them and ask them to do something with it (with a note of course)?
Ecce Homo SuperiorLove Tropes seems like the best redirect to me as well.
(it's David Bowie)
Shrug, fine with me. It's not really what those inbounds were looking for but uh most of them came from a single forum post that probably won't accumulate any more inbounds for us anyway.
Puʻu ʻŌʻōBumping this, as it's an easy fix. Let us go with Love Tropes, shall we?
Puʻu ʻŌʻōOk, after 4 days, we have some consensus for redirecting to Love Tropes, so I went ahead and redirected and dewicked the page.
The system doesn't know you right now, so no post button for you.
You need to Get Known to get one of those.
