i never herd of any of these anime......
Pika! This is likely to represent around a third of the total season. Less, if we include kiddy stuff and shorts
Plenty of time to learn

Has 0048 been confirmed to air then? I knew it was airing next year but not when. And more Haganai is always a good thing.
I know that, Hylarn, but there's usually at more than two by this point.
So, should I bother watching Minami Ke Okawari, or is it safe to skip that and go straight to Okaeri in preparation for season 4?
Need to watch Boku Wa Tomodachi Ga Sukunai and Chihayafuru as well.
Da Capo III is a given, but let's hope it's not as much of a mess as the first season of Da Capo II was.
Sasami-san@Ganbaranai should be more SHAFT goodness.

"Early 2013". Which still leaves Spring open, but more likely Winter
Vividred sound awesome! It even has Guilty Crown writer so it can't go wrong!

...I can't tell how much of that is supposed to be sarcasm

Is Da Capo III Likely to be any good? Are the previous seasons required?
I'm hoping some "definite watches" have yet to appear on the list.
"Nullius addictus iurare in verba magistri, quo me cumque rapit tempestas, deferor hospes."The good thing about Vividred is that I'm going to watch it fully prepared for a trainwreck.
Cue "Guilty Crown had a writer?" jokes.

Vividred is gonna suck! I can't wait for the first episode!
Yes to the first, probably mostly no to the second. Da Capo II had some connections to I, but could be watched/played on it's own just fine, and I'd expect something similar here
For the record, Yoshino also did a number of other things that didn't suck (and a few that did)
Well that's true, but it's Guilty Crown that's fresh in my memory.

The last thing I saw of his was Denpa Teki Na Kanojo, so I'm sort of optimistic in his writing.
I still hope it'll suck though, we haven't had something genuinely suckish since... well, Guilty Crown.

Infinity...>Was the writer who screwed up/made facepalm-worthy choices on the Dance In The Vampire Bund and Accel World adaptations.
Yeah, excuse me for staying the hell away from anything he writes. I know he's not the sole one at fault for one of those, but still...

I think Accel World's adaptation is rather good to be honest. What problems do you have with it?
> Macross Frontier
All is forgiven.
Still want it to suck though.

Infinity...This is the part where I'd proceed into a rant about the studio's decisions with the early episodes (I refuse to watch the Dusk Taker arc until I can binge it in one go).
But I'd much rather save the impending wall of text for my blog's weekly Under Your Radar segment when the show finishes airing. Admittedly, though, I'm much less irritated with the Accel World adaptation than the Vampire Bund one.

The dude who wrote Guilty Crown goes by the name of Hiroyuki Yoshino. Looking at his resume, he has been attached to a lot of high profile shows that all ended up being trainwrecks.
I have literally no idea why this guy keeps getting hired.
Maybe his Raison d'être is teach us worth of good animes and Japan entertainment industry support him in it.
I am afraid I will have to go against the grain here and say that I am actually looking forward to Vividred. Looking at Hiroyuki Yoshino's resume posted earlier, everything on it that I have watched I have enjoyed.
Accel World is one of my favourite series from the last couple of seasons. Code Geass is one of my top 5 anime. Dance In The Vampire Bund wasn't as good as the manga but was still entertaining. The second season of Darker Than Black was almost as good as the first. Fractale was good. Admittedly Guilty Crown wasn't as good as I had hoped but I still greatly enjoyed the show.

Knowledge is Power, Guard it WellHiroyuki Yoshino Was attached to Code Geass, which would at least make me pause to think about his works.
But since he was assistant writer I'm going to blame him for all the things that went wrong, and assume the head writer was the one doing everything right.

Winter 2013 Anime
We're starting to clutter up the Fall thread, so I think it's best to create this one
