A grave announcement from Mister Administrator:
I think I'm having funMy god that would be awesome.
I deal with Aliens, Time Travelers and Espers. Oh and an unknowing god. Try being in my shoes.
Question: As someone who skipped a good chunk of this thread, what exactly are these "metaguards"? Are they related to the Guardian that Mr. A requested, or is it something else entirely?
Thou art I, and I am thou...P much. It's a proposed name for them. In fact, I am also going to yoink it.
And now I wish I had writing skills. Wonderful.
TerradorablyfyingWhy doesn't Joe have his glasses in his latest video? EDIT: I've also emailed him saying he can snail-mail me the unopened letters if he wishes so I can read them and scan them for you guys. I will post if I get a response.

Frikkin' Archmage of the Entire UniverseOkay, I think I've finished with the first draft of my Metaguard story. I'm pretty sure it's so short it doesn't even count as a short story, but I think it explains just enough about the Metaguard. (Since mine is the only one in his "universe, " I decided to capitalize the title.) I went with a kind, Magitek-using wizard who can control minds to make people avoid cracks or portals or whatever he's dealing with at the time. However, he always gives them three chances to walk away of their own accord. His policy is "Three strikes, you're out." I'm gonna let the story sit for a little while so I can look back on it more objectively later.
Thou art I, and I am thou...And now I'm stuck with the most difficult part of such stories: names. I'm just putting in <name> as a placeholder for now.
kingxana0Guys just a quick thing for those of you who are writing about the metaguard. Don't talk about the wall in your story. He said that if you write about cracks in the story then it would only cause larger cracks. Write the character and Mr. Admin will do the rest.
Thou art I, and I am thou...He said don't mention the cracks. He never said anything about the Wall itself.
Uh, what?Awww, I've called dibs on Mind Control! =(
Well, whatever. It's not like I patented the idea.
Angi KI finished my short story (and it's pretty short, 448 words). I went with my photojournalist character. She can change her outfit based on the white balance set on her camera, and can vaguely sense if big events are going to happen. Edit: And sent! :D

Frikkin' Archmage of the Entire UniverseWoops. My bad. If it's any consolation, his main power isn't really the mind control. His main power is intimidating the crap out of people trying to go through the cracks/portals/etc. by doing things like freezing them in place or regenerating limbs. The mind control thing is just a last resort.
Uh, what?My last resort was a portable Reset Button.
The Man in BlackSorry I was gone, guys, my connection isn't the most reliable. Dang you guys have been busy since Thursday. Thankfully I've managed to catch up and I must say I'm a bit disappointed about the fake characters. That being said, sure why not. I'll see what I can put together for the guardian project. What other puzzles do we have pending?
"Your mission is not to nuke the squid god." —Faramir
Frikkin' Archmage of the Entire UniverseLe sigh. Looks like I'm rethinking my guardian again. See, the problem this time is that he guards ALL the universes from trespassers. And if I know him well enough (and I created him, so I should), no matter how much Mr. A tries to convince him, he's not going to stick to JUST guarding the cracks in the Fourth Wall, he's going to be flitting in and out while trying to guard the other universes. Mr. A probably won't like that too much. Back to the drawing board, I suppose. Luckily, I have a ton of different ideas in storage (in my brain, that is).

>>Fondly regard the afterlifeCan someone post him/her guardian idea, so I can see and write (I only want info so I know what to write about the Order or anything like that, because the guardian's story itself and his/her/it powers I already have).
EDIT: Also, this topic already came up and went away, but I want to bring it back: why would 'x' fictional character come to our world?

(hides)Yeah, Victin? We're all supposed to be writing our OWN stuff. If you wanna write a story, try and think of something yourself. We'll be happy to give you a prompt or something if you want, though (I would, at least).
why is productivity not happen D:
Yep, it tastes like helix. So I've got Dungeons & Dragons today, I intend to finish my backstory for another D&D character, And two webcomic pages I wanna finish, AND I need to finish writing or drawing a story for my guardian girl here. ...LET'S DO THIS!
It's not in ruin? Well that won't do.
Frikkin' Archmage of the Entire UniverseThe same reason why someone from our world would want to visit the other side: Curiosity. Even a mystical world becomes boring to those who live in it all their lives. Cheshire discovered the fun of Twitter here, while Hercule found a way to get his word out through blogging. Our world is no less full of magical wonders than the fictional world.
>>Fondly regard the afterlifeOh, sorry. I thought that we were wrinting about an order of guardians. Sorry, my bad. So I will come up with something.
I know that, but what I really meant to ask was, for example: the Plague Doctors. Where are they from (I suggested The Fear Mythos)? What do they want? And the vampire/slenderman guy? What was he doing in a wedding?
EDIT: I know that. But I thought that we should especifically mention the Order in the character's bio, so I wanted to know your thoughs about that.
EDIT 2: META

We are writing about an order of guardians, but each member is their own character of course, and may not have any relation to the other ones depending on how you write your story. 'Metaguards' is just a general term we've adopted to refer to these characters and our group of real players. edit: I imagine it's not necessary to mention the order if you don't want to. Just write what you feel is appropriate.

Wait, so it's possible for there to be multiple ones accepted into the story?
Uh, what?Mr. A said he is going to send "The strongest one", but I see no reason for him to accept only one, as long as there are no contradictions.
Yep, it tastes like helix.Well now, as it would seem, I've actually finished a draft of a short story for my character, huzzah! Now to just fix it up a bit.
It's not in ruin? Well that won't do.
>>Fondly regard the afterlifeI have many ideas, but I can't think of a good story, so I will just let the 'Strongest One' to you and I will go afk 'cuz I have some stuff to do.
