Local VG music buffI have no idea why I like this show so much, anyone got any ideas why?
I see the Awesomeness.Mind control.
Local VG music buffBut I find the characters charming, the animation slick, and the humor pretty goo...... Yep mind control.

VikingsIt's Lego combined with Ninja. It targets directly into the 10 year old within all of us.
Your problem is that you are too destructible. Be the opposite of that.
I love this show, it combines some of the craziest ideas that you would never think would work together, but yet it pulls them off just fine. Also, Lord Garmadon is one of the best written villains in a kids show, ever.

Nya is great as Samurai but I kept expecting her to be the purple ninja.

Gamer-turning-makerYou think that's crazy? They introduced a temporal paradox.
Local VG music buffYeah, that latest episode is so full of plot holes. For example, sine they destroyed the megaweapon then Garmadon would have never been able to make the ninjas into children or revive that dinosaur, and that also means that Loyd should NOT still be a teenager at the end of the episode, just makes no sense man.
It's a show a bot Lego Ninja's that spin with dragons. It never made scene.
Mighty No. 51345I kinda... hate this show. its well animated, but they don't do anything impressive with what they have. Its a kids show through and through. My little brother loves it, though and that's what counts.

You don't consider a Four-Headed Dragon impressive? You're very hard to please.
Mighty No. 51345I'm just saying that the show dove head-first into the pool of silly kid stuff and never came back up to take a breath. Its purely a kids show. That's cool. It just doesn't have anything for me.
Mega Man fanatic extraordinaire
Mad Scientist WannabeYou're surprised a Lego show dove into kid-friendly silly stuff?
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the Great
Mighty No. 51345No. I'm not. I wholly expected it. As well as the "commercial for the toys" nature of the show. I'm just saying it doesn't have any appeal to me. Can I not like it? Is that allowed?

Creative, Black, NerdyI love it, though I thought I'd hate it at first. The new episode's plot hole... I really hope gets explained, even further because it looked as if the PAST golden weapons were destroyed too. Which would beg the question of how they even figured out Lloyd was the Green Ninja, let alone having him become a teenager. Most likely, they created a weird paradox in which the Mega-Weapon of their time was destroyed, but they Golden Weapons of the past survived when time returned and since everyone remembers everything, Garmadon may have though it smarter to actually keep the damn thing hidden that time and as such, Lloyd is still a teen, but they didn't have a clue how that creature resurrected because Garmadon made absolutely SURE this timeline that the Mega-Weapon was a secret weapon. So, the ninjas putting it behind them would end up biting them in the ass in the future! That... or we take the easier way out and have the ninjas recommend Sensei Wu that using the Tea of Tomorrow on Lloyd when he (Lloyd) thought he would be ready to "grow up".

I dunno, maybe I'm weird, but even as a kid, I could tell when a cartoon didn't make sense, and it annoyed me when I pointed it out and everybody said "It's just a cartoon, it doesn't have to make sense!" I was glad when I grew up and found out that yes, a cartoon can make sense AND still be entertaining.
Forum talk is just casual talk. It's not a debate you have to win.
Gamer-turning-makerOr how the Great Devourer was even killed... since, y'know, it required the Golden Weapons to kill the damn thing.
Regarding the Paradox, I'm assuming that the events would have transpired regardless, and the Golden Weapons of the past still exist, still in Garmadon's possession, though not fused into the Mega Weapon. Jay probably repaired the Destiny's Bounty at some point, Garmadon still convinced the Serpentine to obey him, and Sensei may have convinced Lloyd to make himself older, since he wasn't very powerful in his normal state and wouldn't be able to fight his Father. Either that, or the Mega Weapon just repaired the timeline itself and made everything stay the same. It's a magical artifact after all.

Bunaic/p my post from toonzone Lord Garmadon is a well built antagonist, and I really like the relationship he has with Lloyd. You don't see a lot of that in kid toons. heh this show is cheesy, but it reminds me of TMNT 80's. A nice balance of drama, silly, action, bonding etc Zane is my fav chara- but I like all of them for various reasons. Even when Lloyd was a 'wanna be bad boy' I was quite fond of him.
Bunai is known to make spelling and grammar errors, but will attempt to correct them once realized.
How nice of Vincent Tong aka Matsuda voicing Kai. He's also a Butt Monkey like Matsuda; for instance, complaining of how he's the last ninja to get his true potential and his job at the beginning of season 2 involves with getting beaten up by kids.
Gamer-turning-makerSo... the show is coming back next year. I honestly didn't see this coming.
In Justice We Trust!Where did you hear that? Though if true, actually doesn't bother me. I saw they released new toys for it, so would make sense.

Gamer-turning-makerJust saw a sneak peek of the next season during CN's Ninjago marathon. They're getting new outfits and a new enemy, with the conflict focusing on something called the Techno-Blades.
In Justice We Trust!Just saw that as well and the toys I saw were cyborg based as well, with some giant flying fortress of their own. Well, no complaints here honestly! Ninjago oddly grew on me.
This is so much better than Chima that it hurts.
