A fairly new manga in Jump that covers a love triangle between a ridiculously shy high school kid, a gravure idol and an actress. Anyone else reading it? I'm finding it somewhat enjoyable. The one-shot was pretty nice, too. (For those curious, the title is literally "Love-Dyed Maple Leaves".)

Well, I'm reading it now. Good stuff so far. The male lead is awkward and "wimpy", but he's not a pushover. The two female leads are nice, too, though I'm leading towards Nana because a) she looks like Rihoko from Amagami, b) she's deadpan and funny and c) she automatically poses in front of any camera. XD It's also cool that there's a female character who's just a friend, not a haremette. The ecchi/romance hijinks are pretty standard so far, but they're done well enough.
Yeah. Until Nana showed up, I could say with 100% certainty that I preferred the one-shot. And I agree that a girl who's just a friend is something that... surprisingly isn't done enough.

Interesting, that's what I was thinking too! The oneshot was really good, and I felt that the series proper didn't manage to match it until Nana appeared.
New chapter... ...What a total brat.
OBVIOUSLY the girl on the cover of the magazine joins the story, and obviously her media image doesn't match her real personality.
Why hello Bitch in Sheep's Clothing. Can't say I'm surprised to see one. Probably not gonna enjoy the next few chapters much.
16's up on a handful of sites. And I spotted a translation of 17...

Haruhi, they're really moving things along huh. Could this be because of the series' low rankings? Ugh.
It might be due to low rankings, but it survived this round, so I'm not sure.
Hide in the shade
Ah, responsibility. Girls always demand responsibility, and every harem protagonist must comply. Fine then. I'll take it with small bet. If this series manages to reach 26th chapter, it deserves a page on its own. On more serious note, the character design seems familiar to me. Where did I see it before? And I hope Umine's dad gets more screen time. He is awesome.
Oh geez, just saw chapter 18. Who would have thought that she'd actually succeed?

... When did this comic attempt reaction faces? Okay, it was funny, but the level they did it in this chapter reminded me too much of Nisekoi.
Maybe that's what the author was going for.
Another chapter. At least it seems that Shouta intends to do something about this.
As he should. Thaaaaat said, I think it was inevitable for miss Bitch in Sheep's Clothing to take a shine to our doof of a MC.
Kotori's good side is shown. I'm not sure if I even had to spoiler that.
Scanlation for chapter 22 is finally up. The arc's over.

Impressive turnaround, I'm actually starting to like Kotori. Not as much as Reaction-face-Girl, but still.

Needs more Nana.
23 and 24 are up.
Re: Ch. 24 Nana's love, as the chapter says, overflows! This won't turn out well.
All but the final chapter are up.
Final chapter's up at the scanlator's site.
