I played— and loved— the GBA sequel. I loved how it kept throwing different styles of levels at the player, with the only commonality being that they're all chock full of action.

Gunstar Heroes is one of my favourite oldschool action platformers. The difficulty in this is just brutal on the higher difficulties. I have no idea how I finished this game as a kid.

Note: If you want to play the game, you can actually buy it off Steam alongside pretty much every other good Genesis game.
