I gone POSI wee bit before that, even with my stats not touching the 100s.

Now, I'm steadily on the road to Captaincy! The question is, which one?

I do fancy the Zubmarine, but I've heard good things about the Yacht as well....

^ Get the Steamer first, then save up for other ship later...the other ships are EXPENSIVE. ESPECIALLY the Submarine...20 Whirring Contraption? Seriously? Though yeah, either the Submarine or the Yacht, since they also give BDR...

Anyway, I went POSI just a few days ago...right now I'm grinding for Antique Mystery to get myself room at Royal Beth...boy this is taking a long time...at least the POSI option to build casing don't need skill check.

Also managed to get Membership of God's Editors (THANK YOU Fidgeting Writer), and got my own ship right quickly (Master Thief option for Rainbow of Offerings help LOADS)...and stupidly didn't draw the card that increase my notability until 24 hours after I lost 8 of 15 of my making waves to Time the Healer...FUUUUUUUU

I remember when it was thirty whirring contraptions. I'm still only at seventeen. Just spending all my extra actions on MOAR WAX

Where can you get the contraption without spending shitton of items in the Sidestreets? (also it's so good that I don't need to use the Contraption to make the velocipede anymore)

You can spend a lot of time in Wilmot's End, but that takes a crapton of actions too. I personally just stick to grinding wax to exchange for beetles and occasionally using Implacable Detective cards for memories of light.

Finally after several days of pure grinding....the Beth room is mine!

Now gotta get those notability for the inevitable Christmas (which hopefully would get me Beth Suite)...

Yo!

Finally some half way into clearing the route to the Caves of Nadir. Unfortunately, going forward needs either 5 Skulls or 400 echoes....

My Shadowy is around 60 and the other stats are around 80.

^ At the Flit, choose Getting to know the Flit...either choice give you Whispered Secret, but go for a wander don't raise any menace if you fail...

Note: that option only works up to Shadowy 71. Another one is to try to decipher what the Topsy king says...it gives nightmare on failure, but even then it also give you cryptic clues there (so success gives you WS, but failure gives you CC and nightmare)...I think that works up to Shadowy 73, but it's Watchful challenge...

If you have access to the university and still can do Term Passing thing (and has Watchful at least 80), then choose Enjoying the Pace of Academic life, then choose A stroll around the quad...although I'm guessing that you're getting WS for expedition supply...

Is it normal for those mood things to glitch on you? Because I had a Cool as Ice mood attached to me for more than twenty-four hours before it finally faded on me (and that was because I purposely took it off because I was really starting to wonder what the fuck was happening).

(But man, hundred sapphires for one soul. I'm still not even in the 80's for any of my skills, so don't know if that'll still be a good amount in the future, but yeah.)

Wow. It took a frankly staggering amount of actions, but I finally get my Ray-drenched Cinder, and can enter the Cave of Nadir! Additionally, I'm only a few steps away from a room at the Brass Embassy!

^^ Antique Mystery...spent SEVERAL days just raising Casing via the POSI option and rob Feducci repeatedly...I did convert most of my Jade (and even Correspendence Plaque) to AM too tho...

^ There's already hint of new content BTW...also you don't get true goat until you get UBERGOAT.

Right now I'm raising Notability to 4, hoping that the Christmas card to get 5 card lodging cheaply will still be available this year (it needs 3 notability to buy that way and some Lacre taste thing, I'm getting 4 to keep 1 point to be able to call the Amanuensis...)
