All of H.G.Well's Classic Novels and an Omnibus of his Short Stories.
I also purchased some time ago, a Leet World t-shirt.
"You'd never do something as irrational as dying."I traded my soul for the entirity of Batman: The Animated Series on DVD. (The suckers! )
Suppose my purchases on Blizzard's pet store counts, since I'm no longer playing World Of Warcraft. >.>
Rule of fanworks reviews: The amount of constructive criticism a work receives is in inverse proportion to the amount it needs.Oh, and who can forget Mann Co store on TF 2?
I've spent a few hundred on hats and weapons... ;_;
Then there's the Steam Store.
"You'd never do something as irrational as dying."A chess collection featuring 32 Batman characters (plus special The Dark Knight Returns edition of Batman and the Joker!).
And let us pray that come it may (As come it will for a' that)Pretty much every anime figure I own.
Also the Blind Guardian live albums. I don't like live albums very much, but I still got them for the sake of having the Blind Guardian live albums and a mostly (but not fully) complete BG album collection.
People aren't as awful as the internet makes them out to be.Full boxset of Cardcaptor Sakura. All episodes plus the two movies. All in a plastic slip cover over the cardboard box.

'All he needs is for somebody to throw handgrenades at him for the rest of his life...'Me too!
Also, I bought this: http://uk.battlefoam.com/infinity-alpha-bag-horizontal-standard-load-out-with-miniature/
just to get this fellow:
I have that Nirvana With The Lights Out box set - in the end I made an 80 minute cd-r of the "highlights", and it's now just gathering dust. I might go watch the DVD part some time though - if nothing else I remember it was sort of fun to see footage of their first ever show at a house party, with Kurt singing to the wall and someone deciding to start flipping a light switch off and on for a "strobe light" effect.
The first music box set I ever got was The Aeroplane Flies High by Smashing Pumpkins - I was just massively into Mellon Collie at the time. I lost most of the individual disks one by one somehow over the years, and now the box is being used for storage.
Earth is the only planet inhabitable by Nicolas Cage.As a kid I lusted after (and received) many Zoids models. My parents and grandparents bought most of those, though.
Otherwise, an iPod touch. I guess I'm not that big of a consumer in this respect, but I'm not going to throw stuff at anyone who is. I guess the Adidas shoes I bought recently were pretty expensive, but after my employee discount and a gift card, they were only $20. So...yeah. Guess I'll just show myself out.
How dare you disrupt the sanctity of my soliloquy?A Card Captor Sakura SEGA Prize PVC statue, along with AKIRA Medicom RAH figures of Tetsuo and Kaneda. I have a Hakuro FLCL Takara doll and a Motoko Ghost In The Shell SAC RAH figure as well.
A Ultimate FX Lightsaber I got from Big W for twenty dollars less than usual.
A foil mythic rare Jace Beleren Planeswalker M:TG card I got in a booster like Charlie Bucket's Golden Ticket.
AKIRA Blu-ray and DVD steelbook case edition.
Hell Hasn't Earned My TearsWhy is the Nostromo a "USCSS" prefix? She wasn't a military vessel.
Sorry, pedantic nitpick over; back to your regularly scheduled discussion.
Also got the Percy Jackson Ultimate Guide. People were almost climbing all over me to read it.
Also got an iCarly video game, if that counts for anything.
I don’t even know anymore. No bloody idea, to be honest.
'All he needs is for somebody to throw handgrenades at him for the rest of his life...'The Animorphs video game for the GBC, I think. Good gods, that game was bad.
Join us in our quest to play all RPG video games! Moving on to disc 2 of Grandia!
The title pretty much explains it all. What are things you have purchased that you are well aware are nothing more than mass marketed crap to get hardcore fans to pay more money, but you love anyways.
Here's some of my list.
- Complete Box set of The Who's discography. (Really only a consumer whore thing because they release a "best of" every two months.)
-Percy Jackson: The Ultimate Guide. It's not even a book. It's half encyclopedia, it has trading cards, pretty pictures, and "interviews" with the characters. But it's really well put together and a very nice collectors piece.
-Joined the Green Day fanclub. Aside from a free t-shirt, exclusive pictures, and getting first dib tickets to concerts, there really isn't much else involved. I really joined because I wanted the shirt, which is bad enough as is.
So, what have YOU sold you soul for?
