Needs Help: Mother Penguin get usage counts

Hoo boy, does this one have issues.

First off, the trope name makes no sense and is easily confused with Everything's Better with Penguins. Something like Stern Nun Teacher would work much better.

Second, barely anything links to it! There should probably be some entry pimping going on. I've added it to the Pages Needing Wicks index, so that should help some.

Finally, a good amount of the examples have zero-context.

I see:
  • 1. A lot more examples then are currently there
  • 2. Definition is confused? for any stern nun or similar person

Problem here is that penguins aren't immediately associated with nuns. Make the association more clear, and we shouldn't have a problem.
Belief or disbelief rests with you.
Welcome, traveller, welcome to Omsk
Valid trope, could probably do with a better name. The current name is unintuitive (I get the "penguin"=nun connection because of the colour of the nun's habit, but even if you get that it's about nuns, you can't guess that it's about stern teacher nuns).
It does not matter who I am. What matters is, who will you become? - motto of Omsk Bird

No, the other one.
This one needs a rename. I think very few people would associate it correctly without knowing it beforehand, which in itself makes it a bad name, since it's far from common knowledge enough to make it work.

seems like an obvious Put It Through YKTTW

When I read the title, the first thing that came to my mind was the mother penguin from Super Mario 64. Needs a Better Title indeed.

First off - sorry about the bump thing.

Anyway, so what do you think we should rename it? I'd say Stern Nun Teacher or something akin.
I suggest Hollywood Nun (also added the idea of broadening the trope).

No, the other one.
Hollywood Nun could mean a number of things. There's not just one stereotype associated with nuns that Hollywood uses.
Check out my fanfiction!
True. Although we already have the page for Naughty Nun. I'd have this be Stern Nun.

Stern Nun would be good.

Stern Nun seems a good choice to me. I assume we already have a trope for Stern Teacher, nun or not?

Edit: Yes, we do! One with a surprisingly direct name!

So do we have a consensus on "Stern Nun"?

Generally, you want a crowner. And please be a little less in hurry.

Added a page action crowner. Options are not mutually exclusive. If I missed an option, feel free to add it.

If a crowner is ready for calling, you might want to send a holler (via the yellow triangle) instead of bumping. Usually, this attracts the attention of mods better.

Or if you're trying to bump for more votes, go ahead and say so. Just saying "bump" is remarkably unproductive and unhelpful. Tell us why you think this discussion needs to be bumped up past all the other discussions that also need to be resolved.

That said, this does look like it might be ready to call.
"Existential Despair" is an oxymoron.

Wanted to apologize. I believe I created this one at one point (not sure if I launched it), and I agree that the name is very non indicative.

I think Stern Nun or perhaps Stern Old Nun would be way better names.

Calling crowner in favor of renaming.

Alternative Titles: Mother Penguin

Vote up names you like, vote down names you don't. Whether or not the title will actually be changed is determined with a different kind of crowner (the Single Proposition crowner). This one just collects and ranks alternative titles.
