Forgive me if this was brought up before, but I was wondering if there were plans to have a dark background while reading tropes. I know it's a fun thing to do to read lots of tropes and find funny explanations, but the white background is a bit too tiring. ...There's a dark background option I'm not looking at right now, isn't there.
Well the Darth Wiki has a dark background, but I'm not aware if there's an option for the rest of the site.
Seeking for Light1. This belongs in Tech Wishlist. 2. I doubt it's going to happen. The wiki backgrounds are currently color-coded by the area of the wiki you're in (gray-on-black for Darth, white-on-pink for Sugar, white for Main and works pages, and blue for YMMV, Moments pages, WMG, etc.), and I doubt that's going to change. It serves as a visual reminder of where you are.
Anime-tedI'll move it shortly. You're right; the colored backgrounds on Darth and Sugar Wiki, and even the YMMV page here, making having anything but the white background highly unlikely.
ThatawayWith a bit of searching you could probably turn up the methods others have used to use a custom CSS for the site. It's something you do on your end. I don't think Eddie has the time or inclination to code up variant style sheets — it is certainly not a priority anyway.
I have a blog. (That updates sometimes.)
The system doesn't know you right now, so no post button for you.
You need to Get Known to get one of those.
