Seeking for LightThis thread lists the large-scale, ongoing projects which cover multiple pages in the wiki. Don't hesitate to bump a long-disused thread. These are general use threads, so duplicates are discouraged.
Pages and Wicks
Page cleaning or work
Namespace Wikis and the like
Long-term efforts for tropes
Long-term efforts for indexes

A Wizard boyI already said this in Wiki Talk, but I figured it was better to say this here as well:
Rhymes with "Protracted."
In uffish thoughtThe only thread about it is a Wiki Talk one from over a year ago, which is just a brief question. The page itself also hasn't been edited in over a year (edit: other than the namespace move).

A Wizard boyThat thread will have to be created in SE to work. Also, guys, please don't clutter up this thread with discussions. Anyway, I've asked some questions; anyone for/against?
In uffish thoughtFor both. I reckon you can go ahead and holler for the first; the second may merit a couple more agreements.
Seeking for LightI would also be fine with both.
A Wizard boyA few more threads I've tracked down (not sorted, yet, and there migth be duplicates):

Seeking for LightI added Properly Sorting, Consistent example style, and Removing Fan Myopia to the list. Removing Gushing was already there. Why I didn't add the others:

A Wizard boy"Transforming Audience Reactions" is one of these threads made for coordinating TRS work. Also, found this thread on Redirect Farming. Ignoring that it's in the wrong place, would it fit in the directory?
Seeking for LightOn "Transforming", I guess I just don't see how the thread would be helpful. I mean, if you bring it up there and get support for change, then you're just going to have to go over everything again in the TRS thread. And if you're not sure about your perception of the trope, that really belongs in Trope Talk, not Special Efforts. And as to the latter thread you mentioned, so far everything on the list is from Special Efforts. Do you think it should be expanded? I could see the redirect, indexes, and YMMV threads fitting.
A Wizard boyI think that these threads can fit too. Plus, in the Wiki Talk thread on stickies (the one linked in my signature) we are discussing to bring several of these threads over to SE as they fit here better.
In uffish thoughtUnder Specific Namespaces, "Pages that need (or don't need) banners" is now "Pages that need the YMMV banner".
Seeking for LightChanged; thanks.
Fixing Actors/Actresses pages can be added to the "Everything else" section.
"Learning without thinking is labor lost. Thinking without learning is dangerous."
Seeking for LightDone.
A Wizard boyNow that Special Efforts is being split, where does this thread go? I thought of Short Term, since one of the purposes of this thread is to prevent endless duplication of threads.

Seeking for LightIt would be more efficient to just start a new thread in Short Term, as this one deals pretty much exclusively with what would be in Perpetual/Long Term.
A Wizard boyHmm...do we need this thread essentially in both subfora? Because keeping two things up-to-date could be an issue. Also, the point of the directory among others is to prevent short term threads that are withhin purview of the long term ones. It might be better off in Short Term. Never mind that it would be redundant to

Seeking for LightGoing off of what Septimus said here, do you think I should provide a second post with a strictly alphabetical listing of threads?
A Wizard boyMaaybe. My idea was more on the forum page, though - in a "bring your problem pages/examples to thread X" forum there is a point to list threads alphabetically rather than by activity.
O' Allah, save EgyptDo we have a thread for dealing with the issue of listing tropes on both a superindex and its subindex(es)? (e.g. Nanomachines on both Speculative Fiction Tropes and Applied Phlebotinum)
Ash-shaʻb yurīd isqāṭ ḥukm al-ʻaskar
A Wizard boyNo, because we don't know already whether it's an "issue" that needs resolving.
Where would you go if you wanted to clean up a potentially gushy page (this one)?
