I saw no thread for it, which led me to think that I should start one, so... tada, I guess?

So, has anyone even heard of this site? The makers of it seem to think that making a site for people to post whatever random crappy videos they want will be something that'd get big or something. Feh. It'll never catch on.

I've gotta say, the only halfway decent videos you can find there are of Reply Girls. I mean, they totally have a lot of interesting input about the videos they're replying to.

Well i suppose they could be living in warmer climates. I mean this "youtube" deal is suppose to global isn't it? Seems a little far fetched that people could post videos from where ever in the world they are. Sounds like some sort of um, "Science fiction" thing. That's the right term right?

I do not like the new setup at all. Why would I want to have to go to another page to view my subscriptions?

Yeah, I hate the redesign as well. The relative lack of customization, and creating separate pages for things (favorites, subscriptions, friends) that used to be displayed on a single page, is really annoying. /serious

i really hate they force the recommendations on the main sie, instead of showing your subscriptions. I wasn't crazy about the previous design either, but it was a lot more practical compared to this one.

I guess they redesigned the profiles? I never visit mine because I can just check out my favorites from the banner up top. I never really look through my subscriptions either.

The profiles and main channels are the same, is the main site that got redesigned, when you're logged in you usually saw the videos recently uploaded by your subscriptions, and the right side you could see the recommendations, now the first thing you get the recommendedvideos, then the recommended channels, and on a tiny column on the left there are your subscriptions. And it's all put together too close on the center of the pafe, instead of using all the space. I don't know, I just find the design too messy, and the subscriptions thing does annoy me since I'm subscribed to channels that update regularly.

See, I don't normally go on the homepage (which I actually never liked the design of since the day I first used the site, so it don't confront me none anyway). I usually just go to my inbox automatically.

It seems that the redesign is only affecting certain people right now. For example, I got it with the new layout while my sister still has the old layout.

My main problem with the new layout is that when I click to see only subscriptions in the main video area, and then check off the “see only uploads” from my subscriptions, it doesn't actually happen. You Tube is actually more broken now than it was before the change.
