After finishing watching the LEGO movie with the grandson, I spent most of the day just hanging out with the kid while my mom went out to meet some more friends, one of whom she brought with her back to our apartment. Nothing really much til further notice.

For dinner tonight, the metal broker friend invited us and friends of my mom over to this nice restaurant I remember eating from seven years ago. Its basically a slaughterhouse for fish, and you can actually choose which ones to eat and they will freshly kill it for you! :D

Bah, I need to post more. I'm good with the Hub City thing though, have nothing else to do in that anyway.

What I need to do for you, Gaze, is think up a mission where it isn't just you and me doing stuff. We needs to give Jacob more of a social life!

Hmm... There is a reasonable possibility to do something involving Jacob's whole "monsters are just a different kind of super-person, damnit!" thing, as that could easily extend into the common "are supers trustworthy" thing and therefore involve anyone. Ideas?

No ideas so far, besides getting STRIKE involved in a vampire war, or Jonah Hex getting involved in something that could set something up for him later. I'll probably keep you posted though.

Also:

If it wasn't established that I can't handle more than one RPs for an extended period of time, I'd leap at the chance to introduce a Space-Themed spinoff.

I like that "Beyond Gotham" immediately means space. Nope. nothing else on Earth worth using.

...Whistles innocently la la la I could handle a Space Spin-Off (Big Bean is really the brains behind Hub City, I'm just supporting him and God knows that if I have something to contribute, it's free time.)

Can't wait for the scene where LEGO Superman snaps LEGO Brainiac's neck, cries about it for five seconds and then makes a joke about it to LEGO Batman.

But what about the name? Dawn, Dusk, Black Days. There is no day/night cycle in space.

Although right now, I'd prefer if we focused on restarting Hub City first, to avoid diluting interest. Space can wait. (Maybe the Guardians of the Galaxy movie will spark interest though.)
