No, he's prepared to wait. Besides GG's OOG absence will make that something of a necessity.

That and we got to finish the plot we're on first. I'm also about ready to leave.

HD, presumably, is playing Eddie Brock, and gears have started turning in my head for a plot that could lead into the character. I wanted to set up some precedents for the plot ahead of time, and I could probably do the story anyway, but I'd like to know if he's still interested.

EDIT: Okay, Day says he is still interested in playing but things have been getting on top of him lately and he's forgotten things here and there. He's still in.

I'll be honest, I don't know if this is how Cannonball would react if he was really faced with an honest-to-god mars person, seeing as the canon one has dealt with aliens before, albeit of the less than friendly variety.

By the way, how close does everyone think the tent should be to Jack and co? I'm thinking it should be a long way down the road and around the corner. That would be far enough that Jack only hears far off glimpses of all the noises and guns going off.

Hey guys! I guess you'd expect me to be back today, and unfortunately that won't be the case. You see, about two-thirds of the way into getting up for the vacation, the car died... permenently. I'm currently using the Wifi of a Dairy Queen. However, if all goes well, I should have a new car and be able to get back to you guys by tomorrow. Sorry for the inconveniance, you guys!

Also as far as Cannonball's love for sci-fi goes, it makes some bit of sense as a Southerner myself. I know a ton of other Southerners who love sci-fi... Also, the first encounter with aliens for the canonical New Mutants was the Brood, not exactly the first aliens you want to meet. They are less John Carter and more Alien.
