I would like to see more of that. Its amazing the amount of meticulous detail that's gone into this game.

[up][up] Cyber Connect 2 does the same thing with their Naruto games.

They are major anime and manga fans, especially of Jojo, so it's no wonder.

They also created Dot Hack, and Asuras Wrath, which pretty much proves just how much they love anime.

If they put more substance into their gameplay they'd be top class.

Well, the gameplay has been described as like Street Fighter IV with sidestepping. Street Fighter IV isn't bad by any means. Leagues beyond those Naruto games. No offense to anyone that likes them, but the gameplay is kinda mindless.

By game journalists who likely barely know the differences between an airdasher and Divekick. It's probably got other unique quirks in it.

...
Its not your fault, but that sentence makes me really want to punch you.
But you are right. Still, from a general perspective, its like SFIV with sidestepping. It probably matches up, generally speaking, in speed and floatiness at least.

We seriously need to get a list of every song this game's soundtrack references. It's a fucking goldmine.

This one would be a whole lot less awkward if Fugo wasn't in the game!

The OST is pretty nice yeah. Well some are kind of meh(Polnareff and Jotaro's are quite a bit inferior to their Capcom themes) but the good ones are pretty good.

Idk impressions from this game aren't what I was hoping. I want to play it but ti still seems to fall into the CC 2 traps. Thankfully it's better than the Naruto games.

Jolyne, part 3 Dio, Hermes, and Josuke have my favorite themes.

I'm very fond of Caesar's theme, "Lonely Youth".

Reactions to the final product are a bit more divided than I expected, but the game still looks pretty kickass from where I'm standing.

These gameplay and OST vids really make me regret sticking to Nintendo hardware, but whatevs...

Damn, these idle stances...I thought Josuke was fabulousing it up, but the Pillar men have him beat.

Does anyone have a taunt compilation vid? I really want to see Bucciarati lie sampling.

TBH Valentine's theme wasn't as good as I was expecting, especially the way fans made it sound like it was the best thing ever. It's just okay.

Anyone that still hasn't bought the game but are still thinking about it? Well, take a lookie here, and here. Long story short, ASB has, for whatever reason, been getting price drops in some (but not all,) parts of the internet; at this point, there's no definite answer as to why, but people have certainly been speculating. Personally, all I know for sure is that, you look in the right places, the game's not as expensive as it was just a few days ago, so if you haven't gotten it yet, but are still thinking about it, this might help push you towards finally getting the game.

Is that Surugaya site reputable? Cause damn that's a tempting price...

I don't know why the price would drop. Especially considering how well its been selling. To quote the wiki:
The Special Edition was sold out in 20 minutes just after ordering was opened on Amazon. The 89th reopening of ordering was sold out in 23 seconds, and 92nd reopening was finished in 12 seconds.

[up][up]Yeah, well, there's more to that story then you know. There's a site in Japanese, located here. According to what I've heard about what it translates out to, the opinion of ASB in Japan was so divided that many people who were on the side of, 'This game SUCKS! ', — or something that, at the least, is akin to some level of dissatisfaction — ended up selling their copies back, and there were so many people doing this that some places dropped the price. Now, that's not to say that no-one in Japan likes ASB. It's primarily divided into two camps; those who are fans of Jojo, and accept the game as just a fun Jojo fighting game, and those who apparently expected much better then they got. For example; a better netcode, more technical and balanced gameplay, a much more fleshed out Story Mode, NO DLC, etc. They didn't think they got a proper product for their money, and so, they sold the product back.

Cyber Connect 2 didn't make a technical combo-heavy fighter? Shocking.

Understandable. Still, I'm hoping that the game is still doing okay, especially because CC 2 has actually confirmed that they're working on patching stuff like the infinites and glitches.

Also, from what I hear the campaign sort of has an anti-poopsocking thing going on, where you have to take a break because you run out of energy. That probably pissed people off.

Not sure if this has any impact on the talk in this thread, but it's been revealed that there will be a patch on the 10th to balance the game system (I'm thinking they're removing all known infinites and glitches at this time), Fugo will be FREE DLC, and rather than the campaign mode stamina regeneration taking twenty minutes, they're keeping it at five.
