The name on the crowner is rather...not intuitive, and we really need more options here.

Crowner called.
Accomplished the rename. The description still needs fixing (not to mention examples and wicks), but I removed one of those obnoxious notes on writing quality that have attach themselves to too many trope descriptions:
Just like anything else, it depends on the strength of the writing. If done well, The Gump can be a brilliant twist on an old historical event or previous plot. If not, then he can be a leech who drains strength of character for himself at the expense of the host event.

I also noticed a redirect, The Zelig. What shall we do about that?

Vote up names you like, vote down names you don't. Whether or not the title will actually be changed is determined with a different kind of crowner (the Single Proposition crowner). This one just collects and ranks alternative titles.
