'Youth' allows him to transfer some small fraction of his authority to subordinates. Essentially, it allows him to give them the same kind of magic resistance, endurance, and rapid healing he has. 'Dense' is not a word I'd use to describe Godou. He knows what the girls are after, he just doesn't want to do anything about it because that would make other parts of his life (Namely, pretending to be an Ordinary Highschool Student) much more difficult.
No, the other one. While I kinda liked Ena's personality from the start, I really didn't like what she did in the previous episode (which I also mentioned then). However, that little act of asking him to consider her gone redeemed her in my eyes. It also helped that when he predictably ignored her, she didn't complain about it. I've also seen very few more blatant metaphors for sex.

The 'metaphor' seems to be a thing with the novels after this point in the series. Volume seven's treatment of it is... particularly extensive, with all four girls getting involved simultaneously.
man, that power transfer scene was just all kinds of awkward
I... I have to read that. Episode 12: Ena is hilariously laid back. Also holy shit at those kissing scenes.
No, the other one.Episode 13. More kissing. I think only three girls were left out the sister, maid/chauffeur, and Metis. And more of the same. The battles, while impressive, aren't that unique among themselves. Though they did finish it off with a neat scythe. His sword and her scythe make a good combination. And honestly, I'm a little disappointed that they had to end up with Metis with a monstrous form. It kind of feels like they just had to show us she was evil enough to be killed. I'd have preferred if she were human in the end. Also, spoiler.

Let me just stand here while you do this, it won't backfire at all.
Moderate HaruhiistActually I had a hilarious time following Kurogane's tweets about the last two episodes. As a LN reader, the guy was livid at the changes done for the anime-only finale. And this was someone who was okay with the goofy harem shenanigans that were expanded, since they still more or less followed the novels apparently.
I actually think the field of blades thing sort of kills tension in the fights. He couldn't actually do that in the LN, but here it's like 'well, he'll probably win as soon as they start moving'. You really can't do much about that.
Yeah, Campione always had that vibe that it could be much better, but never actually does. That said, I did enjoy my time with the anime, though I recognize that the LN makes for a better experience, partly because I think Ena is an entertaining character and she only appeared in the last three episodes.
The system doesn't know you right now, so no post button for you.
You need to Get Known to get one of those.
