Does anybody else want that clock that's in Hiro's room?
Marvel has no plans for any Big Hero 6 comics or appearances in the near future
Strange, guess Marvel really is seeing Big Hero 6 as a completely Disney Animation Studios thing. On the other hand, if Marvel does ever decide to capitalize on the film in the future, I do wonder how they would handle it considering how radically different it is from the source materials.
Reading that article, my Tadashi is Yokai senses started tingling when I read the part that both Tadashi and Hiro's microbots were lost in the same fire.

that night also explain why the villain wears a mask to - perhaps his face horribly disfigured but not enough that it would still be recognizable

That seems the obvious guess- maybe too obvious.
As for Marvel, I'm pretty sure they will change their tune if BH6 becomes a big hit.

Well, someone had to say it. Or not
Anyway, my second guess is that Baymax will probably get destroyed half way through the film, whether being popped or a Heroic Sacrifice to serve as an emotional turning point for Hiro, a la Gurren Lagann. And through some contrived hidden message or thing from Tadashi they'll bring him back by the end
That said, I really hope they film doesn't do this or the above prediction, since it would be really frraking contrived even thought it seems likely.

Disney seems very self-aware of its own tropes in recent years, both using and subverting them (nowhere is this more obvious than in Frozen.) Which is what makes BH6, which otherwise I'd call pretty predictable, less so. I hope it is (less predictable that is).

They been doing that since The Little Mermaid actually. That tried to be different by having a princess who tried to take action by herself, and her king father who actually has a solid personality and a side story of his own.

Baymax continues to show how damn adorable a giant inflatable robot is.
Mmmm, kinda wished they'd gone with Viz Media instead- considering that they have the exclusive rights to Ghibli manga and are based in San Francisco (the real life location of San Fransokyo . Still, I guess this makes BH 6 in the same "publishing canon" as Haruhi and Madoka, I can't really complain.
Also, something seems kinda...off about those plushies. Not sure if it's the football shaped head or the overly long arms but Baymax has seen better days.

He may be unobservant, but it's hard not to love a giant marshmallow like that.
D'awwwwwwwwww
Not ashamed to admit that made me grin all stupid-like.
i. hear. a. sound.Yep, he's a cutie pie.
Looking for some stories?Well, the second trailer should be out within the month, and hopefully we'll get more Baymax and more other characters.

I know. I was talking about a potential second in-front-of-a-movie trailer.

Baymax is quickly beating WALL•E for my favorite animated Disney robot

The height difference between Tadashi and Yokai is substantial enough that I'm convinced that that's not the twist they're going for.
Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectMy own excitement about this movie scares me.
i think i mostly want to see what happens when this whole place breaks apartMy own theory is that Yokai is actually composed of microbots himself, with (maybe) a remnant of Tadashi's personality in it. Certainly would be a neat twist.
