Suikoden's "Hey, It's That Voice" Thread

I just added a Trivia page for Suikoden, though it's only composed of Japanese seiyuu Hey Its That Voice examples.

Here.

Some things I have noticed:

• Since Viktor is voiced by Kamina, Tir should have been voiced by Simon in hindsight.
• Shu (and possibly Mathiu Silverburg) voiced by Aizen. The first two games are part of Aizen's plan.
• Keiji Fujiwara voiced A LOT of Suikoden characters, including Rowd and Ferid. If Suikoden III gets voiced, I recommend him as either Jimba/ Wyatt Longfellow or Geddoe.
• Sayaka Ohara, the recurring seiyuu for Leknaat, also voiced Queen Arshtat Falenas.
• Roy and Zerase by none other than Ryoma herself. (I confused her with Junko Takeuchi, Naruto's seiyuu)
• Suikoden IV and Suikoden V have two seiyuus voicing the main lead, but they also provide the voice of other characters as well. As with the Roy and Zerase example above, Daisuke Namikawa also voiced Euram Barows.
• Railgun-chan as Luserina Barows? Yes, please.
• Miakis was actually a shinigami.

I really like Yuuichi Nakamura being Flik. But this site seems to love shoehorning Hazama quotes in every single of his roles it's getting sickening. Can't we have references about cute sisters instead?

P.S: If he'd done more Flik voices, I'd seriously lighten up. Flik is one of my fave Suikoden cast.

Oh, why, yes please. It seems like a lot of people here (me included) have no idea about his role in Ore Imo.

Keiji Fujiwara voicing a lot of prominent Suikoden characters was quite a shock to me. Including the Magnificent Bastard Iskas. Also, I really can't imagine a single Ho Yay subtext between Riou and Jowy after knowing that Yuuki Kaji voiced the latter.

Say, if Suikoden III gets voiced (unlikely), who would you suggest for some of the characters you know? Of course, recurring characters will reprise their roles unless they weren't voiced before.

Here's mine:

• Naruto and Ryoma Echizen as Lulu and Hugo
• Granny Tsunade as Lucia
• Kiritsugu Emiya as Jimba/ Wyatt Lightfellow
• Keiji Fujiwara as Geddoe
• Saber as Chris Lightfellow
• Shirou Emiya as one of the Zexen Knights (Maybe Borus or Percival, your pick.)
• Kanae Itou as Elder Viki
• Juri Nagatsuma as Younger Viki
• Railgun-chan as Thomas
• Maika-chan (that Meido sister of Motoharu) as Cecile
• Hiro Shimono as Caesar

Who would you suggest?

• KugiRie or Yukarin as Lilly Pendragon?
• Ami Koshimizu or Ayako Kawasumi as Sarah? Consider that Sarah will disguise as Chris.

I would suggest Yukari Tamura for Lilly... but I'm not quite sure if it's my final choice.

For Kugimiya Rie, I'd get her into Tengaar from I & II. Yeah, then put Satoshi Hino as Hix for Shana/Louise-Yuuji/Saito jokes.

Speaking of the I & II cast that haven't been voiced, have there been any for the circus trio (Eilie, Rina and Bolgan)?

But Hix and Tengaar were Expies of Shinji and Asuka,though. But yes, Hino/Kugimiya could fit as Hix/Tengaar.

I'm pretty sure they removed a lot of recruitment arcs in the Radio Drama of Suikoden II. Heck,I'm even sure they didn't include Riou's moments with the circus trio.

Also, the default party in the Radio Drama seems to be Riou, Nanami, and Mukumuku. And apparently, Luc went with them in Greenhill.

They do appear in the Suikogaiden Vol II, though, and I'm not sure if voiced or not.

Yeah, speaking of Suikogaiden, what's your idea for Nash? Along with the circus trio, if they're not voiced in Suikogaiden?

Also fun fact: Before all those reveals about the Drama CD voices, when I tried assigning hypothetical seiyuus, I usually assigned Kazuya Nakai as Viktor and Hikaru Midorikawa as Flik. After the Drama CD's out, not sure if I'd keep it or not...

I'm thinking of Toshiyuki Morikawa for Nash at the moment, but it's not yet my final pick.

@Drama CD I actually thought Riou was voiced by Miyu Irino at first. But oh well.

I think it's best if we use PM for this since it's just the two of us talking... well until someone posts here.

My tentative Suikoden III VA cast:

• Naruto or Ryoma Echizan as Hugo or Lulu (interchangeable, though I'm leaning towards Ryoma as Hugo and Naruto as Lulu.
• Saber as Chris Lightfellow. Definitely Saber.
• Keiji Fujiwara as Geddoe or Joker.
• Miyu Irino or Hayate Ayasaki as Thomas.
• Wataru Takagi as Sgt. Joe
• Yukari Tamura as Lilly Pendragon
• Rival seiyuus as Elaine and Queen.
• Kana Hanazawa as Sarah
• Kanae Ito or whoever voiced Viki in SV as Elder Viki
• Juri Nagatsuma (Kotori from Koe de Oshigoto) as Younger Viki
• Toshiyuki Morikawa as Franz, Edge, and Futch.
• Rie Kugimiya as Sanae Y, Mel (I was just reminded of the Palom/Porom dynamic), and Sharon
• Derflinger as Branky
• Accelerator or Lelouch as Bishop Sasarai
• Hiro Shimono as Caesar and/or Kidd
• Tomo-chan as Emily
